Paid a lot of money to stay there and had to pay for parking on top of it. Also only had one working elevator, which we then had to go up 10 flights of stairs because we could never get on one. Also had to take those 10 flights down with all of our luggage, or we wouldā€™ve waited an hour for an elevator.

Location was perfect! Walk to restaurants downtown, river walk etc. hotel was beautiful, great amenities. Parking was my least favorite. It was expensive to park there, $41 in garage $45 valet but it wouldnā€™t stop me from staying there again bc the upside made up for it

The property and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We were traveling with our bulldog and again everyone was great, my only complaint was the restaurant which had outdoor seating/patio didn't allow pets. This wasn't the end of the world as Grand Rapids overall is extremely pet friendly, and we had a great time. Just confusing why, a hotel is pet friendly but doesn't allow them on the patio. The valet and bellhops are first class, and they are very professional, a huge thanks to all of them.

First time stay. Nice hotel. Rooms were nice but family member and I booked at same time for this hotel and paid the same price. I was in 3rd floor and family member got 18th floor upgraded room for whoever reason with River view. There were many events during our visit and our room neighbors were obnoxiously loud with many people in their room. After calling guest services, security come up twice to quite the noise and break up the party. In addition, the 3rd floor is still close to street level if overlooking city view. Very noisy with cars revving engines until 1-2 am. I did receive a $50 refund due to the disturbance however so the hotel did make it right. If saying in the future, I would request a River view room. This is a beautiful venue for weddings and banquets so if you prefer a quiet visit it may not be possible in this hotel.
