Good - no noise from the aircraft, nice facilities and reception staff Poor - Smithy’s staff, plenty of noise from corridor and ajoining rooms Uber - not sure if its on Uber or the hotel just note you can’t get an uber from the hotel, it just defaults to the T1 departures uber rank (5min walk)

Our stay was overnight to connect to an international flight the next morning. The evening stay was fine. However, departing the next morning was another matter. At about 8.00am only one lift was working to exit our floor on level three. The numbers built up as the only lift working was full. We had to eventually take the stairs to the lobby. The staff were completely indifferent to the lift situation and barely acknowledged us and our concerns. Also Smithy's Bar for breakfast was not open despite being advertised as opening at 6.30am for breakfast. Very poor morning service from a hotel of this status.

Ive stayed quite a few times at the Rydges airport and will do so again but there is morning staff member -dont know name who has served me a couple of times when ive checked early morning, who is rude and looks like she doesn't enjoy her job. Other than that stay has always been pleasant.
