Well, what can I say is no service it was North to your coffee I had a crack sink in the bathroom and Nobody come and clean the room at all in the four days so I will not be staying at our place ever again and should have a chat with them regarding on it
It seems more like a hostel for the homeless than a hotel. The smell outside the room was awful and people playing their TVs long into the night (3 or 4 am). I will never go back.
Hotel isnt clean and staff aren't friendly. Have previously written a truthful but scathing review. Since I was charged multiple times I feel the least I should do is leave multiple reviews. Dishonest manager stating that I used two rooms and never brought up the issue of double booking when initially she said two rooms were reserved for me and when I said no I only booked one she checked and said I did only pay for one (which was wholly untrue). Then argued with hotels.com saying I never brought it up and refused to credit or refund me. Despite the hotel being shabby and unclean I stayed here a few times due to cost and convenience for work and would likely have stayed here 2 weeks out of every 4 but they will never get custom from me again.
Stayed here many times before and on a previous occasion I was double booked. I was assured by the manager that I wasn't double charged. Then when I checked banking later that night I found I had been charged for 2 rooms. I did not see staff at all the rest of my stay due to working. I called and their number was inactive. I decided to go through hotels.com and they eventually managed to get hold of this hotel. The manager bare face lied and said that I had not mentioned it at all and must have used two rooms although I only had one key. They have refused refund or credit and have done me out of 205 pounds. Not only this but lying and doing everything in their power to ensure no refund was given. During the time I was waiting for resolution I even stayed there again as mistakes happen, I spoke to the male receptionist on the phone before check in as he called me off a personal number I informed him also of what happened previously and he said it was down to me to contact hotels.com again. Which I had done, but the manager stated I had not contacted them at all when on two instances I brought it up and tried to call and contact many other times. Stay away. The hotel isnt clean, isn't run well and the manager is dishonest. I won't stay again and will be taking legal action to recover payment.
Hairs in bath, stained bedsheets, carpet in bathroom, kettle but no mugs or utensils, felt very unwelcoming especially by staff (who I only saw on day one when checking in), felt unsafe as a solo travelling woman, no bar or restaurant open, general sense of uncleanliness, very dated.

Comfortable stay. Very clean and service adequate.
If you want more coffee/tea or sugar u need to ask by early in the night as isnt replenished daily and we came in too late. After 12 to get owner up and give us more. Shame restaurant , lounge was closed and no breakfast but will b back regardless
