I was told by some strange man that apparently, :locals are not allowed to stay more than 2 nights!" How is that legal? When i asked, i was threatened that they would call the police! I know my legal rights, and this isn't legal! Im incredibly ashamed that i have not reported this yet and will do so ASAP!

I have stayed here a few times now and it has become my go to location when I am in the Hilton Head/Savannah area. It is the epitome of affordability meets required needs. I'm not looking for fancy amenities or shuttle services. A safe, clean room with a friendly Staff to address other needs in a convenient location to the highway, immediately between Hilton Head and Savannah. That's what I'm looking for. And that's exactly what you will find there. They're listed as a 2-Star but they are 3.5-Star easily. Commendations are in order.

The hotel is dated! The room smelled musty and the A/C unit seemed to not take humidity out like normal functioning A/C units do. Clothes left out over night felt real damp the next morning. When we got to another destination the following night, clothes in our suitcase felt damp, also, even though they had been inside the passenger space of our car all day long. The beds were comfortable, though, and the room served our purposes for a quick over-night stay.

I was pleased with everything except the cleanliness. There was mold all over the bathroom. I wouldnt even use the shower or toilet. There was hair under the sheet on the bed. Like a lot. Could definitely use better housekeepers

I travel often and have lived in both the Hilton Head and Charleston areas. I often stay in properties off of I-95 because they are more affordable. That said, I normally, in advance, accept that I will have to deal with certain aspects based upon that affordability. I did not have to accept such shortcomings with this stay. Everything was exceptional and I was more than satisfied with my time there. The only aspect, which management probably could not have controlled, was another guest's barking dog, which seemed to happen each time the guests left the room. But that will not prevent me from booking future stays with this property. I would and will recommend this location to all of my colleagues.

I drove in and realized how bad it was. The clerk put me, a 67 year old woman with a large dog and I had to carry my luggage, my dog, up a flight of stairs with Immigrants(?) hanging around all over. I finally was able to open the door to the 2nd floor and a door immediately opens to ,y left and a little dog comes running out of that room and my dog (on a leash) goes berserk and wraps his leash around my ankle. The immigrant in the room doesn’t do a thing but I finally got in my room. I immediately noticed how old and dirty throughout. The hair dryer was blackened by whatever germs. The TV would not work because it said to hit the “input” button. There was no input button on the remote. So I go to my telephone sitting on the bedside and pick it up and there was no dial tone to call the office. In the meantime I hear someone testing my door knob several times since my dog was barking and agitated. Looking further I see there is no telephone plug in the wall or in the landline. I get in my car after passing 10-13 immigrants staring me down and drive to the office. I stated my problems and she said she would send someone up. I was not satisfied because of the whole environment around the hotel - right off the intersection, immigrants hanging around all over the hotel area, and I told this to the clerk. She stated it had been over 2 hrs which wasn’t true and I could not get my money back or even a credit. So I’m widowed, surrounded my 70 or so immigrants watching my every move.
