This is a superb setting for Luton airport customers. You are literally in the last bed before the runway. This means it isn't quiet when the planes fly over, but it is superbly comfortable and the hosts go the extra mile with small but winning touches including the ready when you are breakfast for those travelling at odd times. Great stay, but bring your ear plus if you want to pretend you are not staying near the airport.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Really disappointed with our stay.
Previous stayed over a year ago and it was wonderful had all the animal and the owners were lovely.
Weren’t told that the owners had changed over and all the animals had all gone. Had a very upset daughter. Nothing near by and never saw the owners.
Wouldn’t come back
Also no sink to wash up.
What a wonderfully idyllic place to spend a night. I only wish it was the week before when we had unseasonably warm temperatures so I could wile away the evening in the private patio area looking out over the pond with water feature installed. Nice security with the automated gate along with the digital lock for entry. I had everything I needed for my overnight stay as well as waking up to everything required for a lovely continental breakfast. The place was nice and rural and yet still pretty close to civilization. The only slight drawback was that the property was in the middle of the flight path for jets coming out of Luton Airport but it really didn't present any problem when it came to getting rest.
The property is in a unique location within easy driving distance from Luton and several small local towns (the country roads are narrow and occasionally challenging). The rooms were clean and a good size. However the location is under the flight path in to Luton airport and the planes start flying over around 6am.
Great property that was convenient for Luton Airport. Done out lovely and breakfast offered was a special touch. Only took us 10 minutes to get to the airport! Whilst we didn’t expect the property to be quiet as it was so near the airport, we didn’t quite expect to be in the exact landing flight path for the planes which was incredibly noisy. Even with earplugs it was loud. Quite relentless when it’s every 5 minutes. Real shame as property and location is wonderful!
Lovely room, great furnishings, bathroom to die for, pleasant outlook (or would be if the pond were fuller).
Perhaps accentuate the positive by saying "close to airport" in advert, as aircraft noise was a bit of a shock.
Minor problem with bathroom door and emergency no. only left message - we managed to sort in time.
Lovely short stay and the animals are such a nice extra!
Room was warm and clean and the croissants in the morning were a nice touch.
Super close to the airport (you can actually see the runway!) but there are earplugs provided. We had a great stay.
Lovely farm with great accommodation and friendly staff. Lots of animals to see. Nice continental breakfast. Highly recommend.
Small drawback was no hairdrier and too late to sort out.
We had a wonderful time. Really lovely staff, amazing atmosphere and felt like home! Wish we would have had a bit more time to stay and see the animals- next time!
Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!
This place is gorgeous. I literally live everything about it. But whilst its idilic its also horrific when trying to sleep. I cant sleep with ear plugs and the planes are just awful. Its so gorgeous aside from the planes. Hence the review
I had a lovely, relaxing stay. Fresh, hot croissants were brought to my room in the morning and I was given a tour of the farm to meet all the animals. Each suite has a private patio looking out to the duck pond, horse’s field and Luton airport runway. I enjoyed watching the animals and planes come in. I definitely recommend and will be going back for another “staycation” as it’s less than an hour from me.
I have a very mix view about this hotel.
Positive
The Farm is very beautiful
Our room was spacious with microwave, water, and other items.
Charging point for electric vehicles
Negative
Contacted the owner a few days before the stay told me to text him didn’t get back until day of the stay.
No key card or anyone to check us into the room although our plans to arrive change which I kept the owner notified
No where is it stated that the farm under flight plan constant noise airplanes taking after was a distraction even with ear plugs this should of been noted on the description.
Lastly which really sored the trip was to have two large dogs been set up on me while I came back from the shops. The experience was not nice at all to think that these dogs would bite me and no one from the main building done anything for a few minutes. Just Outright disgusting and made to feel not welcome by nearly being
Even after the patronising apologise that I should know that the dogs weren’t aggressive just made the stay even more upsetting. It’s really telling as big black man I am the only reviewer to have had this experience of having two barking dogs been set upon because they thought I was a stranger or even worse trying to burglar their home.
It’s 2021 still have to deal racist stuff like this is unbelievable.
If you are looking for a nice relaxing country break then this is your answer!
My husband and I was greeted by a lovely member of the team, who also provided a tour of the farm animals. She was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The room was very clean and the personal touches they include to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our room also had a patio with relaxing furniture facing a pond. This was very relaxing and was definitely what we needed away from the hussle and bussle of London.
Around the farm we was also treated with friendly smiling faces and a couple of waggy tails :)
I’d hight recommend as you won’t be disappointed! These owners clearly love what they are doing and it shows. We look forward to stay again.
Thank you Bailey’s Farm
This is a great place to stay- very interesting collection of animals on the farm including camels and Emus. Yes you did read that right
The only thing that must be mentioned is that it right at the end of the runway and planes fly directly over the farm at 500 feet. Personally I loved it as I’m a bit of a plane spotter !!
They do provide earplugs in the bedroom just in case it gets to you but I actually had a good notes sleep
Very thoughtful to have bread, cereals, milk etc in the room so you can make your own breakfast
Try to avoid eating at the local pub unless you have a sandwich
We had such a lovely stay at Baileys Farm! We stayed for two nights in Claire’s corner room. The room was spacious, lovely and clean, with plenty of room for myself, my husband and our two little boys. Alan and Michelle were really good hosts, but our star was Gaby who gave us a lovely tour of the farm and went that extra mile to accommodate my two animal loving little boys - including feeding the camels, the horses and even collecting our own fresh eggs from the chickens! My highlight was the warm croissants delivered to our room for breakfast! Also a perfect 30 minute drive from the Harry Potter Warner bros tour in nearby Watford. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back! ❤️
Was amazing lovely location . Refreshingly different , everyone was very friendly breakfast in the room was a lovely treat . Was lovely to see all the animals .
