The tower behind the main check/in area is outdated and uncomfortable. VERY noisy to street traffic and neighboring rooms. It sounds like there is a bird sanctuary inside of the room so be prepared to wake up nice and early to their beautiful singing. Great time to go to the beach though! Comfort wise, the bed is subpar and comfortable for about ten minutes at a time. Super great location BUT it’s not at the beach! A few blocks away and a short walk will get you there. BUT the word beach in the name is misleading as it’s not close enough to qualify as a beach hotel imo. Lastly, I tried to call the desk multiple times to no avail. No call backs, just kept ringing one time and a busy signal the other time. I am sure the main tower is in better shape as it looks newer but the other one not so much.

First off they don't offer regular parking so you have to valet park which is $60 a day. second we get our room and get settled in and go to use the restroom and the toilet doesn't work, They wanted to change it out at 11:30 at night with a new one, I told them no we have to be up early so they had to give us a new room. The AC worked good the first night but after that it wouldn't cool the room down that great. The restroom was dirty and the sink was so small it was hard to put anything on it. When you washed your hands in the sink the water would go on the counter and just roll off to the floor. The valet service was real horrible it took forever to get your car, all they would say is that they were short handed. when walking to our car or the pool we had to walk through the smoking section which was nasty for my family. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Parking is way too expensive. On top of the room, taxes & RESORT FEES, you have to pay $58 per night just to park your car. I mean, what else can we do with our car. We couldn’t get a room on the same floor with our other party. For the amount of money you pay for the room, you could be more accommodating. It was so disappointing.

Beds were not the least comfortable ive ever slept on. But not too far from it either. Shower was tiny and unusable. The room was very clean. Daylight was visible around the door and i could hear evwrything that went on outside as a result. The extra paint layers were not pretty. The repair work was shoddy and there was water damage in the ceiling. Not what i expected from the mariott name.

We were assigned a room in the old part of the hotel. The AC in the room we had would not cool the room. Also, the blow dryer didn’t work and the table light would go off and on on its own. Was not a pleasant experience.

i wanted to recognize the front staff for being kind & helpful. they asked me a reason for my stay & i mentioned i was celebrating for my birthday. the sweet lady checking me in gave me chocolates. i will always remember the generosity. & house keeping does light cleaning like changing towels & cleaning the bed! helped a lot when most of towels are being used for the pool.
