For the price, the location is excellent and the rooms are fine. The staff could be more accommodating (we asked for 4 shower towels to be brought up to our room as there weren’t any and we had four people, they would only bring up two and required that we go downstairs to the the rest ourselves).

I would not stay here again
Upon arrival it felt like a drug den! Found out later it used to be, and it was a quarantine motel during C time!! Vents all over the room were dusty and dirty. Not just a fine line, im talking dust bunnies! The bathroom was ridiculous! Barely hot water, cracks all through the shower tiles, bed side table was marked by what looked like cigarette burns. Did not trust the balcony. The lock in the outside of our door for the key card was missing the top cover which didnt give alot of confidence. The room did not match the photos. It is in a great location, just wish it was cleaned up a little more.

The property phone number was non-operational; could not get through and no other listed number was found on google. The email did work, however. The parking situation is not properly articulated on the website and needs to be. Also, the cost for (only) valet should be spelled out.

Ok as a home-base, had some issues
Firstly, the staff here was great, they took great care of us and the beds were very comfortable. The bad: The suite was advertised to sleep 6 and it did not. Our room was as clean as it could be, but the tub was falling apart and was "covered" on the bottom that was some kind of plaster something that was coming up. The walls in the bathroom were crumbling. The hot water took a while to get, and there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. The " kitchenette" was very small and not really designed for cooking. We also had to request all the kitchen items, which took a while sometimes. We asked about laundry facilities which was advertised, and was told that there was a laundry mat a mile away. It was also advertised that parking was available and when we got there we were told it was valet only and mandatory $45 a day for parking, which were not expecting. The good: we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, so the flaws are not something that weighed heavily on our family. They also gave us a snack treat everyorning. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and keep your stuff at, this a good place, it is close to many fun things and the beach!!!

Our stay at Ohia Waikiki Suites was a mixed experience. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and clearly took pride in keeping the hotel as clean as possible. The location is also a big plus, conveniently situated near the heart of Waikiki. However, the property itself is in desperate need of renovation. The hotel is very old, with worn-out outlets that couldn’t hold plugs, a patio door that wouldn’t lock, and walls and doors in poor condition. The safe in our room didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. Parking was another challenge, as there’s no space for even temporary check-in parking unless you’re willing to pay $45 per night for valet. We ended up parking at the boat harbor, which required a mile-long walk each way. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable, and the staff really seemed to make the best of what they have to work with. If the hotel were renovated, it would be an incredible place to stay, but as it stands, it’s a place best suited for travelers prioritizing location over amenities.

Good location, friendly staff, extremely bad view of falling abandoned buildings. Room had mold, water dripping from ceiling to carpet. Bathroom needs a good Clorox, mold in shower. Very old, not updated. Hallways are dirty, carpet is stained and bad.
