It’s a good area, it’s around a lot of the shops and walking distance to the market. However the place needs an upgrade. A lot of the stuff is really old.

Aside from the kind front desk agent that checked us in on the first day everything else was a disaster. The AC was broken so he arranged for a fan which I didn't mind using, we had the window and balcony open which gave us a nice breeze. But then I recieved a call 3x at 5am because they wanted me to close the window citing safety issues, the 3rd time threatening to have someone come up and close it. Needless to say we won't be coming back to this hotel, if you can call it that.

Dreadful !! Hot Dirty And No Aircon!!! Ohia doesn’t have Aircon for more than a week ! The room was hot a dusty and the cleaning lady was lady some days not cleaning room and then when I advised this and wanted fresh towells they never came ..it’s a joke The pool was dirty with clumps and black hair everywhere in the past quite good and great location but to ask for hotel fees during a period of no aircon is dam cheek won’t be back ever !

I stayed this hotel with my son. Over 1week . Very convenient location, room is clean bed was excellent condition to deep sleep. Room has small kitchen that was help us save money and enjoyed cleaning the cooking. Me and my son met many new friend there, we will miss them. And will be back to our vacation time!! Mahalo

When we got to Ohia, they informed us that the A/C in the WHOLE hotel was not working. They offered to send us to their sister hotel. Their first choice to send us to had no elevator so we turned down that property. The second property was Luana Gardens Hotel and Suites. Although we didn’t want to move, Luana was a nicer hotel than Ohia. We ended up better than we expected but I rated the Ohia and not the Luana

The room is not like the photos on the website. Our bathroom door wouldn't close because it hit the toilet. Then the toilet started leaking around the base and we had urine on the floor. They then told use because of this, we had to move, but they told us at 10 PM at night and didn't give us an option. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I ever stay here again. I will say the staff were amazing and the one saving grace of our stay. Especially Ethan. He did everything he could to help us.

The hotel was old and outdated, but we could look past that. Until our 3rd night when my husband found bed bug bites on his arm and back. After checking the mattress he found multiple bed bugs. The hotel staff changed our room to their 'penthouse' room which wasnt much different than the original room at all; since it was late already we stayed that night and checked out in the morning. Not only was there bed bugs and thats gross for anyone, but we had our 11 month old with us. Thankfully he did not get bit. They waived our 'amenity fees' but that was it. Do not stay here unless you want bed bugs.
