I recently stayed at this hotel, and while it felt safe to walk around the area, it’s not as walkable as other hotels in Waikiki, like the Outrigger. For instance, it took about 20 minutes to walk to the main Waikiki restaurants and beach. There are a few restaurants nearby, but the variety isn't as extensive as other, cheaper Waikiki hotels, which are much closer to the action. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, for a hotel that markets itself as luxury, I expected more (e.g., a bigger room, a nicer bathroom). It had more of a classic Hilton vibe than a true luxury experience. Also, the hotel parking ($45) is far more expensive than the Marina parking garage ($20). They are literally right next to each other, so I don't see why the hotel rate is so much higher, especially for guests. Overall, the stay was nice, but I feel I could have chosen a cheaper hotel and gotten a similar or better experience. If you want to be boujee just for the sake of it, choose this place. If you want more bang for your buck, consider hotels like the Outrigger.

We were supposed to stay in a premium room, but received a way smaller room than the last time we were in. Check in could not find our room. With the poor check in experience, the hotel this second time around did not seem as pleasant. The wait for a drink at the pool was around 30 minutes and room service an hour. Will most likely not return. The coffee is really good though!

Liked that the hotel was located in a quiet area, but walkable to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, shopping at Ala Moana Center and the beach. It was perfect for my needs and will definitely stay again

I couldn’t come up with feedback if I tried. The Prince Waikiki is 5 star service and you cannot go wrong with them! We spent our first wedding anniversary here and l didn’t want to leave due to our blissful stay. Highly recommend this hotel!

I love it, but they did not put a hearing impaired kit in my room. That's hotel policy......I am a deaf person. It's late too. I was in pool, and view beach and boats dock. I took a shower, I try a body wash,WOW, it make me much big lather, I like it very much. I will order a Mabie body wash. I went to shopping area near Prince Waikiki Hotel. My first visit to Hawaii. Two Thumb up!!!! But I will be sad to leave Hawaii..........

We have been coming to the Prince Waikiki for over 20 years. It has always been our go to Hotel in Honolulu.But we haven't been in since 2019. There have been changes made to the Hotel, some good some not so good.First the good. Rooms have been refreshed with new carpet and paint.Now the not so good. There are 2 pools on the fifth level and the small infinity pool was filthy.Maybe the water requires more filtration. The Prince Waikiki used to run a small shuttle bus to Waikiki and that is no longer running. This is a huge disappointment as the Hotel is not close to Waikiki and this was very convenient to use for the beach and dining especially at night.We hope the Prince brings back the Shuttle Bus.
