It was hard to find the hotel lobby from the parking lot. There should be more signs with DIRECTIONS.

The property was too much for it’s age. Parking was difficult. The fish & chips @ the pool burned my tongue, bad. The pool was nice. Check out times some be later, like 2.

I loved the cleanliness of the property and the room but the only thing that they took long was we were having an electrical problem with our room and it took around 6 calls to the lobby to finally have some one come and fix the issue. Besides that compared to the other hotels next to it I loved the two pools and the outside bar it has and the food was delicious! I don’t remember her name but the server at the pool bar she was awesome and making sure we were happy with our order and we had drinks so props to her because that something that caught me and my finances eye how hard working she was.

It feels like a boutique Hotel. The only issue for me is the lack of a good restaurant on the property.

I have stayed at The Modern several times. And it never disappoints. I love the location. It is perfect for me. Moreover, they are working hard to reduce their environmental footprint, even offering water in cardboard boxes. Bravo!
