stayed extra night after friends wedding service not great when booked in at restaurants waited over 2hours for our meal was rectified and apologetic booking was not booked by reception sent lamb back we ordered as not cooked properly, and manager kindly said we did not need to pay the bill,as we asked for the bill, so that was good , and ordered room service and burger came with bacon we dont eat, as the menu didnt mention bacon was upset asked at time and knd staff said he would look into it, but nothing happened, so mentioned at departure and she said she would look into it and took card number . Not sure what will happen, i think as the weddings were happening the service was a bit disappointing, but overall the hotel was good,

Beautiful hotel, great service, perfect for a special occasion. Everything was excellent apart from the room being absolutely roasting. We turned the radiator off but the pipes remained boiling hot.

The service was poor at times, with staff ignoring you and leaving you waiting. Although I booked a room with a King Size bed, it only had a double bed and the hotel insisted I pay for the King Size Room even thoughb there was no King Size Bed! A room dinner with wine and a drink will set you back £400 a night. 5 star prices with 2 star bookings and customer service.

Very noisy early in morning with doors slamming etc. could hear people talking in next room. Not enough staff in the bar. Room could have been cleaner. Had to sit in the floor to do my hair with a mirror. Shower products on the floor as no shelf or tray

A beautiful stay.
We went for our friend’s wedding. Everything was very well organized. Staff were very professional and helpful. We stayed the night in a beautiful Deluxe suite, which had an excellent view of the grounds.

We would go back
After changing our room to the main house our sray got better . Nice olddie worldie house . Food was nice but not enought at dinner and expensive . Breakdast was great but ruined experience by grumpy staff . Reception and most of staff very nice and helpful. We wokld go back. .

Absolutely stunning property with picturesque views of the stately grounds. The hotel itself is a very beautiful manor house with well appointed rooms which are spacious and well presented. Staff were helpful and service was excellent
