The check in was easy. They explained how to get to our room easily. They explained hours and breakfast. They had a map a paper describing all of this as well as some other helpful things like what to do around the area. It was a beautiful lot with the badlands as the background scenery. The room was clean. Sometimes hotel rooms don’t smell clean but this room smelled wonderful as well. They had all the amenities I needed for my stay which was only a night so I didn’t need much. They had opportunities for a lot of things that I didn’t need though. All in all, I 10/10 recommend you stay here!

It was dated but clean and great location for exploring the park. We checked in around 6:30 and caught Yellow Mounds and Pinnacle Outlook at sunset which was gorgeous. My only complaint with the hotel is the hours. I woke up at 6 and watched so many people walk to the front desk, where breakfast was served and turn around then eventually drive away. It didn't open until 8:00, which is way too late for breakfast imo, we needed coffee and food earlier and would have liked to be on the road just after 8 am. The pool had inconvenient hours too. It didn't open until 10 in the morning so there's no chance really of kids swimming before check out and it closed at 8 pm already. We did walk over at 8:15 and tried to order breakfast but it was such a strange setup that we left after not being helped. Luckily the Cedar Pass restaurant in the park was open and we got some coffee :)

Sweet Place
This place was very sweet. Will not win awards for modern conventions but makes up for it other ways. Interior has a population of 94....not a lot happening. Convenient to Wall, Badlands,etc. Campstore was pretty well stocked. Room was clean.

Very great workers, very friendly. Beds were comfortable, bathroom nice. Clean. Pool was nice, cold which is nice at 100degrees outside. Beautiful view of mountains and people were friendly.

This motel is in a small town with friendly people, the staff are very kind and helpful. The view of the Badlands from the balcony is stunning. The only negative I have is the small shower and no microwave in the room. The beds were comfortable. Our cable box didn't work and the staff replaced it as soon as they figured out it was bad. TV was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Most guests were 1-2 nights. We stayed 8 nights, but we like our of the way places. Also having access to seeing the Badlands everywhere you turned was awesome!

Good for value and location, very close to interior entrance to park. No frills motel. Flies all over in our room, which I know management can’t control. I just wish maybe between reservations they may do a quick sweep of the dead flies off the floor/window. Linen stained, did not sleep below covers. Please note office hours are only 8-8, but if you check in late the office management is nice and leaves directions for you to get into your room.

Very basic updates with newer bedding and linens newer vinyl plank flooring but bathroom floor, sink and countertop were old and sink corroded outdoor above ground pool was small yet clean but overall ambiance of the grounds was poor nothing had really changed in 50 years

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was clean, with what looked like brand new carpet. Warm water with good pressure. Was very quiet at all times. Pool was great for above ground pool. It was clean & temp was nice.
