Honestly, I had no idea what to expect going into this experience. My brother and I stayed 2 nights and, based on the reviews, we walked into it with no issues and only one assumption: yurt with two twin beds.
I packed as if it weren’t a very hot summer and did not expect clean water to be provided. This basically was overpacking to the extreme but some things came in handy and we had wished we brought others. Overall, we had a wonderful and pleasant experience, though I would recommend considering what you may need if you only have a comfy place to sleep with no space heater or reliable light source. This includes thermals, an extra towel or two, perhaps an insulated sleeping bag, a flashlight of some kind, hand sanitizer or soap, resealable plastic bags, an easy way for you to wake up early (*notably not a loud alarm), credit/debit card if you only use cash, a floor mat flip flops for the shower if you intend to use it, small toiletries, and a portable water bottle. All that and a good attitude should help you get used to the campground very easily. If you are anything like us, you may get turned around using either Apple or Google Maps. In which case, just call or text them to ask for directions.
There are cows nearby but they mainly kept to themselves. If you’re into s’mores or grilling, there are bonfire pits in a shared area that automatically lights up after sundown (amen solar power). Quiet hours are important, especially if you arrive after dark.
