The area of the hotel is very bad so be aware before booking. The staff are not nice and barely know English so they can't help you. We called for simple stuff like plates or water more than 10 times but they did not bring it to us and we had to go and buy them ourselves. Only positive was the good breakfast they have.

40min taxi ride from the airport - get an Uber not the metered taxi! Youā€™ll thank me later. Had the junior suite for me and my partner, lovely apartment and could see the surrounding area. A few minutes walk and you have the T4 tram line which links to the main attractions (20-25min and your in the main attraction area. Gold market, sultan Ahmet surrounding area). Transport is easy to understand, gets busy and packed. Taxis I recommend getting Uber to avoid getting ripped off. Very frequent taxis available from the hotel. Breakfast buffet was good, would have been nice if they switched it up. Gym equipment was pretty good too, swimming pool was clean also. Some of the house staff had a language barrier which made it hard to communicate when requesting for things to be delivered to the room. Iā€™m not sure if there was a no smoking policy in the rooms, but people were smoking in their rooms and the smell would filter through the vents. This was unpleasant especially coming from a place people donā€™t smoke indoors. Apart from that, decent hotel.

Not a five star hotel!!!!
The Hotel looked good from the pictures but in reality itā€™s not. Definitely not a five star hotel. No robes, two sugars coffee and two tea only , no milk. Furniture was worn and needed new throughout. Shower awful. Bar prices were far too high, Ā£37 yes pounds for a gin and tonic and a coke. Had to pay a service charge on each drink. Food in the restaurant very overpriced too. Dissatisfied to say the least!

The area around isn't the best or friendliest for foreigners, but inside felt a little like a haven. The breakfast was absolutely excellent and staff is nice. However, the hotel is a little stinky, and so although it is very clean and well-kept, perhaps because there isn't good enforcement of smoking areas, it doesn't feel as clean (because of the smells). It's a pretty building, but for the price and photos, it was a little disappointing. The breakfast almost makes up for it though-- great breakfast.
