Nice .. could use a bit updating .
Some minor updates are needed but overall the room was comfortable and spacious . The bed was comfortable. The pillows did not smell like the previous people, which is one of my biggest concerns of any hotel . It was mostly clean. I noticed a ton of dust on the air vent in the bathroom , the back of the bathroom door needs cleaning and not sure it’s sanitary to have cloth shower liners anymore , but this is being picky . I stay in a lot of different hotels so I’m particular anymore . It was mostly quiet, could only hear the really drunk and loud people retiring to their rooms . We had a non smoking floor which was nice . Overall it seemed there were less people smoking in the casino . I wish the resort had more food options . The Gala room was a great venue to see the band . Super great experience there . The price is good since the casino steels your money in other ways . Overall …. Cactus Pete’s could use some decor updates and dining options . Glad I didn’t see any people with their pets .

The food and service in restaurant was extremely horrible. Our food was cold, dry not fresh at all and the price we paid for my family just for breakfast was outrageous. We had to ask someone for our servers help a number of times he number came back to get refills or check on us, very disappointing 😕

Was told I would have microwave and mini fridge in room if I upgraded so I upgraded. No microwave in my room or even available as extra add on. Pool was closed BEFORE we arrived, and hot tub was not in service at all. We were charged a fee and told it covered all these things that were not available to us. When asked to speak to a manager, I was repeatedly told to come back, and one would be available but never was! I expressed my disappointment, and NOTHING was even offered to make it right. My friend was booked through me and had to be moved to another room in the middle of the night because her toilet wasn't working, and she was told to "walk across the street and use the casino facilities" until it was repaired. We were told that we would get a refund for that night as an apology, but when we checked out, we were told we had to contact Expedia to get it resolved. All in all.. A HORRIBLE stay.

Expect a walk
The Horseshu Hotel building seems old compared to the main building shown in the reservation page, and it's not very convenient to the main building, especially for walking there in cold weather. On the other hand the room was quite satisfactory for an overnight stay.

Cactus Pete’s was awesome. It was my wife and I’s first ever casino and they did not disappoint. Some of the dealers at the table games were quiet and came off a little rude but everyone else was fun, talkative, and very helpful. Over all that doesn’t bring the experience down. 11/10 from me.
