Situated in an excellent area close to town and Highways 94 and 127, which makes for an easy commute to Lansing, Chelsea, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, and Irish Hills. We are just a few steps from Cascades Park, Falling Water Trails, Cascades golf course, and Ella Sharp Historic park. Close to downtown and major shopping. Lakes and water sports in every direction, plus local wineries, an artist community, wildlife sanctuaries and more! Sleeping 8 comfortably with 1 King bed, 2 Queens, 2 Twins. This home's old and timeless charm with original beveled glass doors, columns, and woodworking details are sure to delight. Enjoy coffee in the cozy indoor sun room with its natural light, or snuggle up by the fire for a well-deserved respite. Located near the end of a lovely cul de sac, our charming and spacious two-story home with finished basement has an updated kitchen fully stocked for your use. Four bedrooms are on the second floor with 1.5 baths and 1 bedroom on the main floor with a full bath. There is also a futon in the basement rec room which is also equipped with a foosball table and a washer and dryer. The whole house is yours from top to bottom. The attic and garage are not accessible to guests at this time.

The house was very spacious(we had 7 in our party) and conveniently located to attractions, but lacked in some areas. The outside sitting area was nice and much enjoyed. The kitchen was functional, but lacked a few utensils (spatulas). There is no main floor bedroom which makes it difficult for someone who has trouble with stairs (he slept on the couch) Maybe think about turning that little back room into a bedroom with a small tv). Two of the bathrooms were very small and hard to navigate for guys that are over 6 feet tall. Also, there are no toiletries provided (shampoo, body wash, etc)so be sure to bring your own. Overall, it was sufficient for our 3 night stay. *Be aware that the road to the house is very rough!*

This house was so charming and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfy, neighborhood was very nice. Multiple living areas meant the teens had their own hangout spaces. Truthfully, we hated to leave this house when it was time!

House was pretty nice in a nice little quiet subdivision. Everything worked just find was a great place to spend the night and comfortably fit 8 adults there. Plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, etc… we will probably come back next year for another trip.

Nice place in Jackson
We enjoyed our stay in Jackson. The house is on a quiet street. A few things to be aware of. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 bathrooms. The masterbath is a full bathroom, but in our opinion, the shower in the masterbath isn't usable as a shower, only a bath. The hall bathroom is a half-bath. Downstairs on the main floor is the only usable shower. Just something to know when booking this property.

We stayed in town with family for a wedding and had a great stay! The house was just the right size to accommodate, was very clean and easy to access. We were able to connect with property management when needed. We would recommend!

There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. There weren't any written instructions about the house. The cooking utensils and pots and pans were limited. The house was big enough to visit in several rooms. There were supposed to be five bedrooms, but one of the bedrooms only had a sofa sleeper couch with a note that read that the sofa can't be used as a sofa sleeper. There weren't any bed pillows or blankets in that room. It would have been nice to have overhead lighting in the living rooms.

Overall Satisfactory
If I can say anything about our stay is that the property manager was extremely quick to respond and jumped on any concerns we may have had. There was a slight hiccup with booking last minute and the cleaning schedule, however it was resolved quickly and efficiently. The house is beautiful and was large enough for the 10 person occupancy. Overall it ended up being a good trip, even if it was due to a funeral.

Great place for our family Christmas together
A beautiful older home with fun and unique charm. My only reservation about renting this place again was that I must have misread the description thinking one of the bedrooms was on the main floor. Our older family members were not able to climb the stairs so they had to sleep on the sofas on the main floor. The kitchen with large dining room and beautiful living room were perfect for our meals together and to open presents and play games. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great accommodations for a family with kids
This place worked out really well for us. Lots of room. Close to the parks, a must for a family with small children. We even got to see the air balloon hot air, jubilee, an amazing spectacle of dozens of giant creatively designed hot air balloons that takes place this time every year. The host was very thoughtful and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall we had a great stay to attend a family wedding and was happy our family could stay under one roof. The only negatives was we did need to clean the master bath tub and 4 tiles came off the counter in the master bathroom and one bed did not have sheets on it. We really enjoyed our family ti e in the house and it was very close to the wedding we attended. Thank you.

The house was absolutely beautiful and a very well-appointed kitchen. The bedrooms were all great and the beds were very comfortable. The showering experience and the basement stairs cause me to reduce my rating. The downstairs shower was cramped and the fans didn't work. The master bath was a nightmare. It was very difficult to get in and out and there was no privacy- no curtain or door and the water was never very warm. The fans didn't work in the master bath either. The basement stairs are extremely dangerous and it was necessary to walk sideways and hold on for dear life.

Great House Great Location
The House is a great place for a get away, or in our case, meetings. The full bath upstairs is funky - you have to go up a few steps, then down into the tub/shower. Not a big deal for the average person. A large park is right down the street. Overall it's great. However, when we arrived the place had not been cleaned and after traveling for 12 hours it was a bummer, as well as awkward, to hang out while the cleaner did her work. Also, the main contact for the house was impossible to get ahold of - I called and wrote weeks before to get some more information since one of my team has special needs. I was told I would receive some funds back because of the cleaning issue, but I've yet to see it.

Nice place for family gathering
We enjoyed our stay for my mom's 80th birthday. There was a lot of space to spread out, lots of dishes and cookware. It is a nice home to gather. We did have some difficulty communicating, so instead of messaging through the app, I would contact the owner directly by way of the phone number listed. One suggestion we have is that the bathrooms have bath soap and shampoo. That would help those who come directly from the airport. Thank you for the use of your home.

NYE weekend
We enjoyed a kids free NYE weekend here and were very happy with the house!! The basement was a little chilly, but with a heater we made it work. The floors are a little squeaky but you only notice that when it’s quiet. For us the TV was hard to navigate, but we finally figured it out. This house had all the space we needed and more! Everyone had their own space and slept comfortably. Would definitely stay here again!
