Exceptional service at the front desk and room attendants. Breakfast was adequate. The gym was well equipped only thing lacking was the ability to watch TV while working out. The Peloton was eventually set up for use and is a nice addition. It’s winter time so there are a lot of leaves laying about in the parking lot. The room was surprisingly quiet on New Year’s Eve. Bed was comfortably and the room has blackout shades. Close to the beach and various shopping venues.

Clean, fairly new retro style hotel with friendly staff and seamless check-in. Breakfast is included however seating accommodation was lacking. Also, most food was gone before buffet closing time and staff was unable to refill.

On our first day Saturday (12/14/24), we discovered the main lobby was closed for construction, so we had to use the back door to locate the cashier for check-in. Breakfast was served in a very small room with insufficient seating, so it was often full. The bread toaster was broken, the coffee maker was too small, and we couldn’t even get coffee. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The daytime front desk manager, blonde lady “Lisa”, came across as unhelpful and seemed uncomfortable dealing with guests of color, which felt discriminatory. However, the night shift staff and room cleaners were polite and very helpful. Additionally, I was charged $4.95 to use their Wi-Fi service, even though it was advertised as free. Advice for others: Before booking this hotel, I recommend doing some extra research.”

Property was under restoration with no mention of when booking. Breakfast fell well short of Hampton inn standards. Toaster not working, waiting half hour for hot food to be replenished, rude breakfast staff, it goes on. Would not stay here again!

My stay at Hampton Inn.
Hotel was very under construction and very dusty. The front of the hotel is blocked off so you have to walk around that side of the hotel which means they have to keep the doors unlocked on the side. Woke up that morning and walked to breakfast and there is signs that say no coffee today. These were just some of the things that made the state unpleasant.

It was under construction with dust and debris and we were there for medical treatment in Jacksonville and were not notified of the fumes and dust and delays in elevator issues with a wheelchair guest ahead of time. Very inconvenient and unprofessional and a big health risk for a person with breathing problems.
