Welcome to one of the rare ground floor 2 bed/2bath den units, offering extra side windows and even an extra lanai off the master bedroom. Indoor/outdoor living is what we love about our tropical home, with 3 lanais you can always find a quiet piece of paradise here. This roomy end unit enjoys the largest ground level floor plan with a window over the kitchen sink looking out into our banana grove. This, along with the window in the small den bedroom, brings the outdoors in, provides lots of natural light, and allows for cooling cross breezes. The master bedroom offers a California king bed, while the den bedroom provides 2 cozy twins. The sleeper sofa in the living room pulls out to a memory foam queen mattress. We supply beach towels, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas for your enjoyment at the beach. When you are relaxing in the unit enjoy convenient wifi at no extra charge and smart TV. As an additional bonus we have included unlimited free calling to the United States and Canada. You will love the 'private garden' feel to the expansive Maui Kamaole grounds. J101 is located in a quiet, private corner near the upper tropical pool, and has several BBQ's near by (two right outside the back door). We offer discounted rates for stays of 28 days or longer (automatically applied). Not up to par
I have never given a bad review, but this place was disappointing for what we paid for it. When we arrived there was sand all over the floors. I understand the beach is close but the cleaning person should have vacuumed up all the sand. It would help if there were rugs at the front and back door to wipe your feet on and leave your shoes. Under the beds was gross - looks like they never vacuumed- we always check under the beds to make sure we didn’t leave anything. There were no window treatments on the windows in the family room where the pull out couch is which is annoying when you are trying to sleep. The master bedroom has thin windows treatments that let all the sun in right in your face at 6:00 am and the bed was not comfortable. There were signs in the bathrooms that read - clean with water only. Water doesn’t kill any germs! It made me question if it was sanitized between us and the previous renters. The sheets and towels appeared clean. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook. The family room was open and had comfortable seating for our family. I also like to start laundry typically before we leave , but with 2 detergent pods you couldn’t do much.

The good: -the nearby pool was terrific, especially for our baby. -it is located minutes from some amazing beaches. -the unit included beach chairs and umbrellas that were handy. The bad: -the place was crawling with cockroaches. There were 3 dead ones when we arrived. We saw several lives ones crawling in cupboards, the dishwasher, and in bathrooms during our stay. We know to expect some on the island, but this was well beyond what we’ve encountered in other Maui visits. -we asked the property manager if there was anything they can do to curb the roaches. She said she would look into it. We had to follow up with her several times. The best she could do was get the property to spray it 5 days after we left (and after another guest was set to check in). -we then felt the need to take excessive protective measures while we were there to try and give ourselves peace of mind. -there was no shampoo, conditioner, body wash, which was annoying and wasteful to have to buy just for our one-week stay. Other properties we’ve stayed at included these. -the beds were comfortable enough but they were very squeaky (likely old). We woke up our baby just crawling into bed which seems excessively noisy. -the patios off the master bedroom were not maintained and just unusable. Overall, the unit layout and functionality was good. Our experience with the bugs and the dismissal from the property manager completely ruined the experience and left us feeling uneasy and uncomfortable for our stay.

It was so wonderful to have such a great space at our condo for our family to stay and close enough to the pool to meet other members of our group! Linda was an amazing host and this condo was the nicest of all of them! It is a great location in Kihei, walkable to the beach but still quiet and very private.

Awesome place for families
Our family, comprising my wife and our two daughters aged 2 and 4, had a delightful stay. The property was well-equipped with all the essentials and the thoughtful inclusion of beach equipment added an extra touch. The location was ideal, with the beach just a short 2-3 minute drive or a pleasant 15-minute walk away. The two-bedroom setup was perfect for our family, providing ample space and privacy. While the kid's room was on the smaller side, it still worked out great for our little ones. Each room had its own AC unit, ensuring a comfortable environment throughout. The lanai offered a nice, private outdoor space, and the overall living area was spacious. Convenient parking right outside the door and a kid-friendly pool added to the positive aspects of our stay. It's worth noting that, like many places, we encountered some ants, which are inevitable in tropical settings. We simply took precautions not to leave any opened food out. In summary, we found the property to be well-maintained, conveniently located, and tailored to the needs of a family. We highly recommend it for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay
We were very happy with our stay at this property. It was a good size, very clean with plenty of space for the 5 of us. Property was in great condition, well stocked with kitchenware etc as well as beach chairs, sun umbrellas, cooler, beach towels and other beach items. AC worked great and kept the property a nice temperature. Parking is right outside the property too. Very close to the pool and less than 10min walk to the beach. Thank you for letting us stay!

Awesome Maui Stay!
We had a great time staying at Maui Kamaole! The property was a great location as we walked down to the beach every morning! The condo was well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, cooler etc that we used on multiple days! The first floor unit with car parking and gas grills right outside our door was super convenient! The condo itself was spotless and truly showed a "pride of ownership"! The beds were comfy and resort was meticulously maintained. When we come back to Maui, we will look to rent here again! Would 100% recommend renting this condo! We had a "worry free" vacation!

This was a terrific place…quiet, central to everything, and plenty of space for the 3 of us. We would definitely return! Perfectly placed between the chilled-out vibe of Kihei and the luxury of Wailea. Makena beach our favorite and only a short drive away.

Great stay
We stayed for just over a week and loved the condo. The unit is very well kept, updated and well stocked. It was clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet, although we could hear the tenants above us walking around, we could not hear any conversation noise. We had no neighbours on one side (end unit) and could not hear a peep from the adjacent condo. The grounds are also very well manicured and the pools were beautiful, clean, quiet. I would not hesitate to stay here again. In fact I don't think I would even bother looking elsewhere if I were returning to Kihei.

Excellent location and very well-equipped condo
Condo is very close to the pool, beach and the parking stall is right outside the door. The main-floor suite was great for my family member with mobility issues. Nice patios for outside eating or relaxing. Very comfortable and very well-stocked with anything you need for the pool, beach or cooking. Great for a family with young kids. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, swimming accessories, etc. The pool and hot tub area was really lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Everything about this property was absolutely fantastic! Proximity to beaches, dining, and grocery shopping. The condo itself was super clean and provided snorkel gear and beach equipment for everything you need to have a good time. The host provided a list of recommendations that was super helpful and we ended up doing a lot of things that were recommended and had a great time. The pool at the condo was great. BBQ grills right in front of the condo, and lovely back patio surrounded by lush tropical plant life. We even spotted several colorful geckos! Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

The property was great - as described and good access to the pool and the other facilities. The grounds at this property are the nicest that we have experienced in all of our five stays in Kihei. The second bedroom is cozy, but is accurately reflected in the photos.

Nicely equipped condo in S Kihei. Clean and comfortable. Easy access to the pool, which was lovely! About a 7-8 minute walk to get to the beach at Kamaole 3. Easy check in and out. Pretty mellow condo complex, nice and quiet at night. We’d rent here again!

Lovely property
Clean hard wood and tile floors, well appointed kitchen and good fridge with filtered water and ice. We were thankful that spices and condiments were left behind so we had salt, pepper, garlic salt, etc. as well as Maui and sauces. Excellent AC in 3 rooms so if you want to be cold, you can be even if just your little second bedroom. We spent most of our stay with the windows and sliders open to let the fresh air and warm breezes blow through. The owner was very prompt in communication. Check-in was easy and we had all our entry information well in advance which made us confident for our late night arrival. Lovely pool and hot tub right across the parking lot with another a short walk down the hill. Assigned parking virtually outside the door. Excellent airflow. Security and safety of a small safe for valuables. Beach towels, small coolers, and even beach chairs and some play stuff for kids. We often rinsed and dried our beach towels as we were thee during a super rare wet winter storm so the air was more humid than normal. Love the morning birds. Just a short 5 minute walk down to the beach or boat ramp for swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding and whale or snorkel trips. Enjoy!

Excellent Condo, very well stocked
The condo is very well supplied with everything you need. Lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties etc.etc. There is even a weigh scale, safe, and rice cooker!. Great setup with lots of space for family of 3-4. The guest bedroom is quite tiny, but otherwise lots of space to spread out. The back patio is reasonably spacious, private and quiet. We had a minor issue with a sliding door, and Linda the owner was very responsive and had the problem solved within 24 hours. The location is great, as it is only about 50 steps from the pool. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Linda!
