We arrived and were greeted by a great guy and checked in quickly. The pool was really nice and although the restaurant was closed (Monday and Tuesday nights) they gave us good recommendations for nearby dining which was excellent. The Inn is very clean. Our room was very small but the linens and pillows were fabulous as well as the soaps, etc in the bathroom. The walls are thin though, we could hear people in the rooms next door and in the hallway. The staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were very good. Went for dinner on our last night which was burger night at the restaurant. Although tables were available the hostess didn’t want to seat us 20 minutes earlier than our reservation and the wait staff was a little slower than we expected. The food and drinks were fabulous though and made up for it. The s’mores availability was a nice touch for the outdoor fireplaces and all the other guests were very nice and enjoyed the atmosphere as well. Good stay in general, we had a nice time.

Really nice property. The room was large we booked with a small couch on the side. The pool was nice and the complentry breakfast is a plus. Just wish the restaurant was open on Mondays and Tuesdays

The place was warm, welcoming, cozy, clean, private, quiet and lovely. Upscale but affordable. I would recommend they have coffee available starting at 6am as there was no coffee in the rooms and the included, wonderful breakfast, started at 8am.

We had a great stay at Shandaken Inn. The location is beautiful, the Inn is comfortable, all amenities were as advertised, the staff was super friendly and we enjoyed the restaurant and bar. We hope to return for a longer visit or with friends.

Shandankan Inn is a wonderful place to stay, tucked away in picturesque setting, fantastic facilities, inviting decor , we had a beautiful room. The only downside we only stayed 2 nights, would have loved to stay longer. What made the stay all the more memorable for us was the warm and welcoming staff especially Miranda who gave us some fantastic recommendations of places to visit in the area. I dont normally write reviews but we had such a great stay i wanted to let others know about our experience.

We LOVED the Shandaken Inn! The property, the staff, and everything in between were exceptional. The rooms were so quiet and comfy! We had the best time relaxing at the pool and in all of the outdoor space. The staff truly make you feel like you’re home. We will absolutely be back!
