Quality of service was excellent. The construction was less than desirable. Too much noise. While I understand the need to update the property, too much construction going on at once. The fact that the public overwhelms the space right in front of the lake is not ideal. People come in via bus, no lie, and there are just too many non hotel guests near or on the property.

Waste of money!
Too much of hype given for this hotel which is totally not worth the money I spent on it. Room is not impressive and the view of the lake was blocked by crane. So what’s the use if we getting a lake view room and charged extra for it and get a crane obstructing the view. Highly not recommended not to stay here as the lodges in Lake Louise area have better serene accommodations.

Excellent view from window. Staff were extremely friendly, nice and helpful. There is an ongoing construction on site. Other than that everything is wonderful! We enjoyed our stay.

Our room had a great view of the lake and the mountain. The walking trail around the lake was excellent. The only issue I had was the bathroom not available to be used, immediately after I checked out. I understand that only guests are allowed to use the bathrooms for security reasons. I was eventually able to use it by borrowing a card key from the front desk and the staff was very understanding and helpful. The person at the bell hop desk was not as friendly. The food was excellent at the 2 different restaurants - Louiza and Alpine and the staff was great. Other than the bathroom issue, our stay was great.

Wonderful location, you get to enjoy the lake before and after the rush. However the activities and extras are a bit expensive (considering the rooms are already very expensive). The lake view from the Temple building was just amazing.
