Really great, friendly service. The room was clean, but in definite need of updating bathroom. Walls are thin and you can hear conversations of neighbors as well as every time they flush a toilet or use the shower. Still, since I wasn’t in Tahoe to stay in the room, I’d come here again since service was friendly, beds were comfortable and price was right.

Blue Bird Inn 2nd time stay
This 2nd time here was much better than the 1st time. The room was cleaner and no wet carpet/floor, no dirty and sticky tables, and drawers didnt have the last person's stuff in it. That's from our 1st time staying at Blue Bird Inn. Our 2 rooms were nasty our 1st time here. This 2nd time though, love that there's AC and heater in the room, hot and cold water, a few toiletries, towels. I wish the bathroom have something to hang towels on. Appreciate that there was a hair blow dryer in our room. Thank you for that!!! Easy to check in and easy to get our keys to our room. Parking is a little tight. So if you have a truck or big car, it'll be a tight squeeze. Smaller cars will be ok.

Great location. Walking distance to a public beach. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Cheryl at the front desk was so delightful and very helpful. She knew the area well and gave us suggestions on where to go. We would definately stay again the next time we are in Lake Tahoe.

Dated Motel getting remodelled
We got a renovated room that was comfortable but floors should have been cleaned. Beds were great & shower awesome. Managers were very pleasant & helpful.

Clean, in process of being upgraded but rooms are nice enough. Great location near beach, shops, restaurants. Quiet residencial area. Our room was quite small but I noticed most were much bigger. Biggest downside was no coffee in room.
