Very disappointed to be to be told on arrival (no mention of this before our stay) that I had to pay an extra £12 to park my car in the hotel car park because I’d booked through Expedia. Wow! Literally the first time I’ve ever had to pay for hotel parking in my life. Not good enough. The hotel is rural and not surrounded by accessible streets, it has a long winding road up to the reception m, so where else could we have parked?

Great location. Couldn't connect to Internet, followed instructions eg room number 0?? . Staff member came to room to check. Apparently wrong information was given to us. Hope they change the paper slip on which we followed.

Excellent service and stay.
An excellent stay once again in Lancaster House Hotel. The room we had was perfect for all the amenities in the hotel(room 10). It was very clean and an excellent bed 🛌 👌 we both had a great sleep. We decided to have dinner in Sandemans Bar after checking reviews about the new evening menu in the foodworks restaurant. My Fleetwood fish & chips were gorgeous and the wife's pasta dish with chicken was lovely and tasty. The full lancashire breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice with cereals & toast. We enjoyed the sandpiper spa facilities very much. We will definitely recommend it and will return again.

The hotel was clean and the facilities were good. The hotel has a gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, indoor hot tub and outdoor hot tub. There are four EV chargers onsite, but two of them were out of order when we visited. It wasn't possible to access the EV chargers in the university area because access is gated off. One issue was that the hotel tried to make us pay £12 per day for parking because we'd booked through Expedia and not directly with them. It didn't state this in our email booking, so they took it off our bill.

Despite being a “Dogs Welcome” hotel we were greeted with the additional charge of £30. At no point is this advertised clearly on the website and is only visible if you add “extras”….. I think it is just below Prosecco !!!!
