STAFF NOT COPING
BAR WAS VERY BUSY, ORDERED FOOD ARRIVED NO CUTLERY OR CONDIMENTS, WAITRESS SAID SHE WOULD BRING THEM TO ME AFTER 15MINS AND TRYING TO GET SOMEONES ATTENTION I GAVE UP AND WENT BACK TO MY ROOM WITH MY BEER. SAW RECEPTION IN THE MORNING TOLD TO EMAIL THEM WHICH HAS BEEN DONE NO REFUND JUST PASSING IT ACROSS TO SOMEONE ELSE SURELY SOMEONE SHOULD TAKE RESPONSABILITY AND JUST CREDIT THE FOOD I DID NOT GET TO EAT AS IT WAS STONE COLD.

The hotel was supberb. The staff were lovely and always happy to help. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The gym was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Were hopefully returning in august. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice stay but a few things to point out .
Another nice stay at the Village Blackpool. Warm welcome by the young lady on reception. Nice comfortable room . No drinking glass in the bathroom !!!!!!. Leisure needs a little freshen up Sauna glass door hadn't been cleaned for some time by the looks of it and was the topic of conversation by the locals. Grass needed cut around the outdoor pool or was it no mow May !!!!!. Bar food area was busy. I had booked a table but no table reserved but staff managed to sort one out beside a large party of loud golfers. Burger was good Fries overcooked . Other than that a nice stay .

Bit disappointed on our stay this time. The swimming pool was full of kids and they were slapping floats on the water making other residents jump. The restaurant is over priced and there’s no table service you have to go up to the bar to order food and drinks then collect your drinks. So charging £30 for a steak is a joke. The other bar was that packed you couldn’t get in. The blinds let light in and the lights on the landing let’s light through from the hallway where the lights are on 24/7.

Never Ever Again. Dreadful Chav Sanctuary
From arrival to departure I was disappointed . Car park is charged for yet miles from anywhere. Reception staff stand and stare at you then tell you to book in yourself. Whole process is self service, you even code your own room key. But while negotiating this complex system the two “reception” staff start trying to up sell services. Didn’t get to use the pool the whole time as full of uncontrolled rug rats and tattooed people ignoring their offspring. Restaurant was fully booked, Italian onsite restaurant closed down. Staff suggested going into Blackpool to eat. Only bar food available to eat in a very noisy sports bar, again full of unsupervised kids running a mock while the parents drank and watched football. Breakfast buffet was a good selection of foods but spoiled by kids touching food then putting it back. Again parents ignoring the behaviour. Dreadful place, clientele definitely not my cup of tea. My children and grandchildren are brought up and taught how to act in social environment. These people need educating and the staff seemed not to care.

Unprepared and awful sofa bed
We arrived to missing cushions and bedding. The sofa bed was exactly as on the photo below. After a 3 hour drive we wasn’t best pleased. We then had to wait around for another room to be prepared. Once we had swapped rooms my other half had an awful nights sleep on the sofa bed because the springs were digging into her. The 2nd issue was: Before the Arrival I also made a call to see what time the pools were open until. During the conversion I said we were coming up for my son’s 8th birthday, to go to pleasure beach. They said they would make it special. I wasn’t expecting this. However we didn’t arrive to anything special at all. When I did mention to this they bought a card and a chocolate orange to the room. This was nice but I had to bring it up. Why ask me on the phone and not do anything or prepare the room for us?
