Liked the area and wonderful views, the place is a bit dated, the rug needed some vacuuming but overall very spacious and the bed was very comfortable! The staff was very helpful when we locked ourselves out of the room and very nice, would stay here again

The facility really was very outdated and in need of an extreme renovation. The room had peeling paint,a gross tub/shower combo and very worn out and mismatched furniture wooded blinds didn’t even close. Bathroom sinks were moldy in drain areas. Mini fridge was gross. Everything needed a good solid cleaning. We checked out after one night. We had a wedding so had to stay for that.

While the staff was super nice and the outside of the hotel (minus the kids toys outside with overgrown grass) the room was ok at best. It smelled quite dusty- and there was cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The biggest problem was the shower. THERE WAS BLACK MOLD AND WATER ICK ON THE SHOWER HEAD AND AROUND THE TUB!!! I told the front staff and he said he would send someone “right away” to fix it. The bed was by far the WORST and hardest bed I’ve slept in in a LONG time. It was so uncomfortable. The room size was nice. The breakfast was not very appealing and the “sun room” it was served in was so hot it was uncomfortable. Will not stay again.

This was a bad experience. I had made a reservation for two rooms for two nights. My daughter and grandson checked in the first night. Due to travel issues, I arrived about noon the second day, assuming that the room would be available since both rooms were prepaid. The fellow at the front desk said there was no reservation and that the hotel was booked solid. I showed him the reservation, which included two rooms, with the prepayment. The guy told me that I would have to get a refund from Expedia, the third party booking agent. I contacted Expedia, who called the hotel. When the rep called me back, he said there would be no refund from the hotel or Expedia because of the hotel’s policy. Bottom line, the hotel profited twice on the one room and refused to accommodate in any way. Expedia did end up giving me a credit to use within 16 months. I appreciate Expedia for that. As for the accommodations that my daughter experienced, the hotel is somewhat dated and there is a noticeable gap between the bottom of the entry door to the room and the floor. Not sealed properly. Of the hotels that I have booked with Expedia, this one is a stinker. The weekend did work out for the good. I stayed at a VRBO in Quarryville that was quaint and comfortable, with very hospitable hosts—at half the price of the Clarion Inn.

The room had accumulated dust on the chair rails and black table lamp. Shower head was terrible. Water came out like an hose, straight down. Could not be adjusted.and while showering there was over 2 inches of standing water in the tub. Faulty drain. The AC/heater made loud noises that would wake you up when they came in. I won’t stay there again.

Refrigerators are not working well. Door to my room was standing open when I came to put my belongings in. Because I booked through you, they won’t give me rewards for the stay. We’ve stayed here many times but front desk service has declined and concern for the consumer has also deteriorated.

Nice old fashion feel for our visit to the Amish country. We attended the show Daniel at Sight and Sound and decided to stay a few days visiting the area. Very convenient location, and the restaurant next door, The Fireside Tavern, was one of best in the area.

The room smelled of mold which was on the shower curtain and shower walls. Rug was disgusting. Hallway rug had 2 large stains. Outside of building had run down appearance. Would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The room was smelly and dirty. The hotel atmosphere was unsettling. I took pictures of the room. The room was old and the bathroom tub was either dirty or so old it had severe stains . The reviews indicated old charm but it was old, uncomfortable and smelled. It was an unsettling feeling. I did not stay. I left.
