Bassin d'Arcachon: Located halfway between the tip of Cap Ferret and Arcachon the charming village of Taussat the baths has kept its authenticity. You will find a long sandy beach, oyster and pleasure ports with their restaurants and tastings feet in the water.
The basin lives at the rhythm of the tides, offering the opportunity to sail in the nautical club, safe swimming for young children, or beautiful bike rides to the ocean and waves dedicated to surfing.

The architect villa "Poupille" built in the 1980s welcomes you in its large luminous volumes and recently renovated.
It has 5 bedrooms, two on the ground floor. Each room has its own bathroom or shower room, except for children.

The new fitted and equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare family meals, unless you use the outdoor barbecue ...

In the garden, you will have access to a shed to house your bikes, you can park three cars, there is even room for the ping pong table.

Family holiday in Taussat
We liked the house with its little pool and garden and really enjoyed our stay there. Isabelle is a kind, helpful and friendly host. The provisions she left for us were much appreciated. The house and garden are well equipped and beds are comfortable. There are nice extras like table tennis, noodles for the pool. We found the area very interesting with the basin, forests, big dune, Arcachon and Atlantic coast. The basin is fascinating how it changes with the tides. We used the bikes there plus some hired in the village to get around locally. There are good cycle paths. We planned to hire cars for just a couple of days to explore further afield but couldnā€™t find anywhere to hire locally. The local shops are good but a bike ride away. Taussat is nice as it is not as touristy as other places nearby and the house close to the basin. We had not appreciated that you can only swim in the basin around high tide, which occurred in the evenings when we were there.

La maison est trĆØs agrĆ©able, spacieuse et trĆØs pratique avec ses quatre salles de bain. Elle est idĆ©alement situĆ©e pour visiter l'ensemble du bassin d'arcachon, Ć  distance Ć©gale d'arcachon et du cap ferret, au pied du bassin et proche de la piste cyclable. La piscine n'est pas trĆØs grande mais elle a l'avantage d'ĆŖtre chauffĆ©e, d'avoir une petite plage qui permet aux petits d'avoir pied et de jouer assis et nos trois ados en ont bien profitĆ© Ć©galement. Merci aux propriĆ©taires pour leur gentillesse et leurs attentions Ć  notre arrivĆ©e et Ć  notre dĆ©part. Une adresse Ć  conserver et Ć  recommander !

Nous avons passĆ© un trĆØs bon sĆ©jour dans cette maison Ć  Taussat, en famille Ć  9. SituĆ©e Ć  2 pas de la plage, elle offre tout le nĆ©cessaire avec 5 chambres et 4salles de bain. Le jardin, la terrasse et le coin piscine nous ont permis de profiter au maximum de l'Ć©tĆ© ensoleillĆ©, tennis de table et flĆ©chettes sont Ć  disposition pour amuser les petits et les grands. Enfin la propriĆ©taire a Ć©tĆ© aux petits soins avec nous, avec de gentilles attentionsĆ  notre arrivĆ©e et de bons conseils sur les activitĆ©s Ć  rĆ©aliser tout autour du bassin. La maison est trĆØs grande et elle Ć©tait trĆØs propre Ć  notre arrivĆ©e. La piscine chauffĆ©e et trĆØs bien agencĆ©e. La propriĆ©taire a mis un point d'honneur Ć  la mise en place des coussins et chaises longues autour de la piscine. Nous Ć©tions trois familles pour deux semaines et nous avons passĆ© de trĆØs belles vacances dans cette location. Nous avons vraiment Ć©tĆ© trĆØs bien reƧus par la trĆØs sympathique et accueillante Isabelle la propriĆ©taire ! Elle a bien prĆ©sentĆ© la rĆ©gion avec plein de conseils et elle Ć©tait toujours trĆØs rĆ©active en cas de besoin! Nous avons passĆ©s 3 superbes semaines Ć  Lanton dans cette magnifique maison. Isabelle nous a trĆØs chaleureusement accueillie et conseillĆ©e. Merci Ć©galement pour les petites attentions Ć  notre arrivĆ©e et dĆ©part. La maison est grande, propre et confortable. Le jardin est grand bien entretenu est trĆØs agrĆ©able. La literie est confortable, les salles de bain grandes et bien Ć©quipĆ©es, ma cuisine est neuve et ne manque de rien. Proche du bassin et de toutes les activitĆ©s (OcĆ©an, dune du Pyla, etc.) cā€™est le lieu de dĆ©part idĆ©al pour les excursions et les diffĆ©rents loisirs de la rĆ©gion.
