Nice Lodge . Spacious lake view room.
Nice room, spacious. Took lake view room though charge $10 more but it worth of. Breakfast only not on property as property restaurant is closed. Planning hoover dam and lake mead, must stay in this lodge.

We had two small dogs so the dog rooms were fine for us and quite large but with very old furniture. However, the area around the Lodge is incredible walking and hiking and is the biggest plus for the location. The Lodge was very quiet and the (six?) eating places were basically empty which made no sense. The busiest spot was the General Store which had coffee, beer and wine and all the trinkets but no toothbrushes. Staff were very nice and we were allowed to take the two mutts "anywhere" in the Lodge we went including bars, restaurants, lobby etc. That was nice as it was really a large facility to ourselves over xmas. I hope the place re-invents itself for the hiking and trails and gets some upgrades and sees more business.

Fine but too expensive for what it was. I had dogs so I was given a pet room. I assume the only difference from a normal room is the warped wood floors. There was no ice, which I always like. The room was very dim. I know that’s a hotel room thing but I really appreciate a well lit room. I complained about some of the lamps not working and a very friendly guy came and fixed one right away. Still very dim, but I could see both sides of the room. Bed was fine, pillows were small and not comfy.

You can tell everything in this hotel is old. Room is huge it is lacking a couch to make good use of the empty space beside the bed. Hotel needs to update at least the bathrooms. Toilet seating super low. Shower ok. Sink area is super small. We only had a 1 night stay so it was ok. Also, advertised free bottles of water in the room, there was none.

There are no longer restaurants. Evidently, they ALL were closed on July 2024. The only options are bar type food. Big disappointment. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Even with the Expedia discount, this property is very expensive, over $150/night! The front desk assistant was new and pretty clueless. I was charged two $15 pet (cleaning?) fees even though the statement I was required to sign stated 2 pets maximum for a $15 pet fee. This statement was ignored. I was also charged these fees twice, so 4 pet fees, and had to complain to get it remedied. The property is dated and needs upgrading including the ridiculously loud door latches that are impossible to operate quietly. The room floor was filthy! I spilled water and wiped it up with a towel, which was then black with dirt. Wash the floors! I pay for extra pet cleaning that is not really done. This property is also isolated with no restaurants inside or anywhere close. All this is a result of neglect and poor customer service, which is sad because very few properties allow pets.

Because there is no longer an actual in-house restaurant, there is nothing to make the hotel better than anywhere else. We loved our experience a year ago when the restaurant provided a great breakfast option each morning, but with it now shut down, I imagine the hotel is not far behind Disappointing to say the least

Don’t recommend the hotel part just the casino
The casino and restaurants are awesome. Everybody that works. There is awesome. The rooms need major updating no ice machines on the floors. You have to get it from the front desk shower did not work. First room was awful. Asked to be switched to another room which they were super friendly about Next room was not great and the toilet ran and the shower was terrible.
