The bed was noticeably old, and it was quite uncomfortable. I could hear and feel the springs with every movement, and my back felt the impact of the springs each morning. If you are hoping for a comfortable night of sleep, you should book elsewhere. I booked through Expedia a room for my two daughters and me. I paid extra for breakfast. My reservation clearly states I made accommodations for myself and two children (Expedia considers children to be children if they are ages 0-17). My reservation also lists "Free Breakfast" as an amenity ("free" because I paid for it through Expedia) for the one adult and two children booked for the room. The staff at Expedia informed me I could only have breakfast for two people. When I showed them booking confirmation from Expedia, their response was that I should talk to Expedia. There was no effort from the staff or from the manager to provide any assistance in the matter. They indicated that they only consider children to be children from ages 0-5. It is understandable that they have a different policy than Expedia, but it was very disappointing that even though they saw my booking confirmation from Expedia indicating "free" breakfast for myself and my two children, they made no additional effort. I cannot recommend a hotel to anyone when I do not have confidence that the staff and manager are invested in my satisfaction and if the bed is uncomfortable. Wailua Bay is a wonderful area Just book at a different hotel in the area.

The property is 10 minutes to the airport. It is nice but showing signs of wear and tear. Elevator is on the scary side. Beach is close by. Small and close to the road. I am not sure how Hilton can justify charging $25 resort fee per person per night.

It was very rainy while on property, but the facility still had plenty of areas to hang out that were covered. All of the staff was very nice and the property was well maintained. However, the food seemed pricey (yes, I realize this is Hawaii). A cup of coffee at breakfast was $6; we ate off property to save some money.

Our room wasn’t made when we got there at 10pm, my kids had to wait to sleep until they brought a mattress for the pull out then return an hour later for sheets and blankets. They never had pool towels for us even though it was part of the resort fee we paid. The proximity to the beach was the best part and the playgrounds on site.

I would definitely let guests know that in the early morning hours be mindful of others sleeping. Both mornings my daughter and I were woken up by stomping and screaming before 7am. I would also disclose at check in that you charge a parking fee along with a hotel fee.

Amazing beach , multiple eatery’s in walking distant, both breakfast and bar food was amazing . Customer service was amazing !!! Only issue was the doors closed loudly . Sunrise is a must see !!! Clean rooms, refillable water stations and all toiletries in restroom

AC loud and poorly configured with loud fan blowing on bed area. Doors closing loudly Shower narrow without safe bath matts...surface dangerously slippery!!!! No in room safe TV out dates NOT SMART. Multiple apps (netflix etc) listed but not available because TV not internet capable. You should fix that. Even a small fee for internet access to entertainment apps would be rewarded. Dining staff sparse. One or two wait staff cannot do it all. Hire some bussers,etc.Some of the wait staff surly but I can understand their frustration due to not much help. Housekeeping staff very good and curteous!! Front desk /-.

Property was great & conveniently located. Staff was friendly & maintained the property clean. I was scared of booking because so many reviews complained about cockroaches which I’m TERRIFIED of….Happy to report that during our stay we had 0 issues with insects or roaches. We stayed here for 6 nights, Monday- Sunday. We walked to coconut market a handful of times because it was a nice 10-15 min walk. Arrival was a short 7 min uber drive from the airport. We rented a car and got to travel the entire island within 2-3 days, the hotel location served as a perfect midpoint for either direction you decide to go. The resort fee and parking situation are my only complaint. The resort fee is supposed to include all these “amenities/ activities” which they had none during my stay. I asked about the ukulele lessons, they had none. Lei making, none. Hula show, none. Hula lessons, none. The “daily bottled water” was never replenished. They give you 2 water bottles for your entire stay so false advertising if you ask me. You’d think the bike rental is 2 hours per day right? Nope you get a voucher for 1 day only regardless of how long your stay is & bike rental is 10 min drive. Pretty much the only thing that we actually used was the beach towels and beach mat. I feel like they should’ve at least waived or given us a discount because the resort fee was $25 per day plus parking. Which leads me to the next point an additional $25 parking per night. Parking lot gets full at night.

The hotel was musky and smelled moldy. Bathrooms in por condition. Housekepping while kind, didnt take the trash out or change sheets. Would not stay here again.

Property is outdated, few pool chairs, mismatched patio furniture, broken guest washing machine. Last minute booking wish I had done some more research as our oceanview room was poolside so no privacy and shared patio.
