The pool area was fun and varied, especially for kids. Although located on the beach,it wasn't safe to swim there. The room was just ok with those laminated faux-wood floors.

The property was very clean and the staff helpful and accommodating. We were a bit surprised by the parking fee of $29 per night. Overall, we were pleased with the choice and would likely opt to stay there again.

Resort fee gives you nothing extra. A 5 star hotel will offer much more if not equal without any extra fees. Here we had to pay even for parking and spa. There is no discount even for spa services.

Dated room had stains on headboard carpet had stains all fixtures throughout the property and room were rusted ceiling fans were very dated dusty blades on all fans were puffed up from moisture in the air Rock Tiles in pool area missing faucets to wash feet were not all operational beach had lots of garbage plastic, nets, bottles, etc staff was awesome property was awesome landscaping pool was awesome taxes and fees hidden costs way too high..

Wow my stay at Outrigger was revolutionary! I will never forget it as long as I live. It was so beautiful and the staff were all so welcoming and kind; a true warm Hawai’ian welcome and experience. The food was great and the cultural immersive experiences were more genuine and amazing than I anticipated.

Beautiful location that is right on the beach. Multiple options for food throughout the day in the resort plus there is Uber eats on Kauai. The pools had waterfalls, a water slide and a couple hot tubs. Rooms weren’t as clean as I would have like mainly the bathroom but my towels were refreshed everyday, my bed made, the trash was taken out and the floors were cleaned.

The resort was nice and central to a lot of the activities we did. One thing that I did not like was that we didn’t get a warm welcome when checking in. Don’t recall the staff at the desk greeting us when we walked by either. Our sliding door did not lock and we had a couple insects in our room. Not sure why parking isn’t included in the price. Parking security gates were always open for anyone to enter. Please change out the old pillows!
