Air con stuck in heating mode, so couldn't get the room cool even though temp was set to 16. Came back from dinner to find it had set itself to 24, room booking hot and unable to cook as it won't go into cooking mode. Hotel itself is fine. Nothing special and don't expect a view - room windows are tiny and for good reason, you have a view either of the Holiday Inn car park or of the side of a block of flats across a narrow alley.

Enjoyed our stay at Doubletree Hotel in Lincoln. Staff were all pleasant and helpfull but breakfast still leaves a lot to be desired. Lovely big room although the bed was quite hard and the pillows very soft.

Perfect stay , lovely clean hotel in great location . Eve on reception was fabulous , lovely added extras with it being our anniversary , Thankyou ! Oo and not forgetting the delicious cookies on arrival .

Great Hotel
Very nice welcome from the lady in reception (warm cookies a brilliant touch). The hotel is brilliant, the bar, restaurant, rooms and the little fitness centre. Only missing a pool/spa. The only negative element was the parking; £15 for 15 hours, not many spaces and very cramped. Would be better used as a pool and spa and use the car park on the corner ;) Very satisfied with the stay!

Not good enough for a Hilton.
Considering the cost of this hotel and the fact it has a Hilton name it’s poor value. The place is getting pretty run down. Carpets are pretty gross to be honest, broken and sharp tiles on the bathroom floor. Shower over bath is tiny and not much good for someone over 6ft. It would be an acceptable stay at half the cost it is but it’s not a £150+ a night hotel anymore. There are better options in Lincoln for the money, which is a shame because the bar upstairs is great. It needs reinvestment in the rooms though.

Just an average hotel. Room and bed was large but bed was hard and creaky, room temperature hard to control so room was cold most of the time and plug was stuck in the bath! Food was not very warm at breakfast the first morning but better the second morning. Would have liked some toiletries in the room, i.e shower cap, slippers and water etc. but was told they didn't supply them even though we are Hilton honours members.
