The property is older but maintained. Breakfast staff were very nice. There is no lift here and I was on the fourth floor so getting luggage up and doing as well as regular returns and leaving the hotel were more difficult (I am older). Location is great. Lots of places to eat and Paddington Station is just a few minutes walk away.

This hotel was fine for a night. Room was clean and had everything you needed and it all worked. However it did smell of smoke in our room. Even after leaving the window open all day! The reception staff were not very smiley or chatty but at least that meant for a quick check in and check out! Only a short walk to the station and well situated for Hyde park.

We only needed a place to stay close to the train station so it was fine for a night. The room was dirty and the bathroom toilet had obviously not been cleaned since the last person in the room.

In Victorian times the servants would complaine
If all you need is a bed to sleep in this is for you. The hotel is very close to Paddington station, loads of places to eat and drink. The room we stayed in was very small we had two suitcases and nowhere to put them. Getting ready in the morning was a challenge.however this didn’t stop us from having a good weekend.

Bathroom was pretty dirty with dead bugs on the floor. The property is right next to the train station so you can hear and feel the trains from 5am to midnight but it makes traveling easier. No elevator so taking big suitcases up 4 flights of very narrow stairs was a challenge. Breakfast was very nice with great options so overall it worked well for us.

Pros: The room had heater system. Wi-Fi available. Very well located. Recepcionist available 24/7 Well distributed room Cons: I did not like the stairs to 3rd and 4th floor, I consider them unconfortable and dangerous to walk up. The room did not have air conditioner.

It was perfect bring so near Hyde park for our Julie concert, for a tipple room, couldn't be better for the price, friendly and helpful staff, room was clean and beds comfy, and breakfast included, perfect

Information from staff was inconsistent, one told us breakfast was included and then we were told it wasn’t by someone else, staff seemed irritated by us querying. We were in room 2, which was ok but the toilet was constantly making noise like it was filling with water, the whole room shook whenever a tube passed. However, the location was brilliant and the area was nice.

Worst hotel ever !!!!
It was the worst hotel I’v ever stayed in , actually I wouldn’t call it a hotel. It was more like a homeless shelter. So dirty, The beds were so uncomfortable you can feel the springs. There was a train track either above us or near us and it shakes the room when it Song goes by. We basically slept with our clothes on from 12 am to 3am . Than we couldn’t handle it anymore so we left at 3:10 am . You couldn’t pay me to stay there ever . But unfortunately we paid $319 . It was a joke

This hotel is very close to the Paddington Station which makes it convenient for travel around the city but also the trains can be heard until 1145 pm and again at 500 am. If you value quiet sleep not the location for you. Otherwise great staff and breakfast and though rooms are small for American standards it was clean

Feel robbed!
Reception greeting and check out was welcoming. Shower was decent. Location good for Paddington Station Room was tiny with a view of extractor fans. Bed uncomfortable. Floor needs relaying. Not the cleanest. Disappointing experience for £200+ room for 1 night.

Brilliant position for Hyde Park. Easily walkable area. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Had twin room but only one mug for tea/ coffee...member of staff fetched a cup from kitchen for us. So just an oversight.would stay here again

We were only staying for one night as we were going to a concert in Hyde Park . It was convenient & in a safe area when walking back at night . Staff were friendly . Beds were comfortable . We would stay there again without hesitation .
