The property has excellent location. The overall room is a little outdated, but it is doing innovation and upgrade. Hopefully the interior will look more fresh and modern after the renovation. Because this renovation, depending on the assigned room, you may experience noise and dust. The stuff is very nice and professional, helpful; food is great; the in house wine selection is great; for all restaurants, I love the buffet restaurant and see food restraint the most.

Noisy from the other room. During the sleeping, we can hear noise such as bay crying and screaming from other room. For the transportation company, we use grayline transportation. The staff who was greating the guests at SJD airport and requested directly to give us tips even if the guy was not friendly and did not welcome well the guest. Also grayline driver also directly mentioned to the guests in the van paid us a tip even if we did not feel they provided great service well. Even one of the van driver did not drive safely which mean pass the slow traffic from the opposite lane. With that being said, the grayline guys want to get tips from the guests.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The food was good and service was excellent. It was a very relaxing holiday trip. The place was under major construction so it’s not very quiet and not everything was open to guests.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. Half of the elevators were closed and did not work. The room service did not work when there were more guests. The food at the buffet wasn’t anything spectacular. For Japanese restaurant we reserved a spot but we had to wait an extra hour for our table. The management was not the best when there were more guests at the hotel.

Pros: Lovely swim-up rooms, awesome swimming pools, excellent service all around, beautiful beach. Cons: Besides breakfast omelettes, lunch and dining options are terrible. The main pool area is super noisy with folks yapping on a microphone non-stop from 10.30 to 5.
