We came in on a light evening flight (with my son) - check in was very simple - comfortable night - had breakfast (very nice) and checked out by 9 30pm before continuing our journey. Would definitely do again

It was just a quick overnight stay after a short but late flight. We had not booked a room suitable for a disabled person, but as soon as the check-in staff saw my sister with her rolator walking aid, he quickly sought out a ground-floor room with disabled person's shower. I was impressed,

Convenient location next to T2 however the beds are absolutely rock solid, tiny double and the air con didnā€™t work. Check in lady was super helpful but wouldnā€™t come back.

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms dirty - hairs in bed, mirrors dirty and hairs in shower. Complained about the cleanliness and got moved rooms but still the beds had hairs in them, big make up stains on curtains, bathroom sink and mirrors not cleaned to good standard. Air con broken, no windows to open and fan not effective so room was boiling hot nobody had a good night sleep, not relaxing at all.

Lovely staff
Only there for a 8 hours between flights. Ladies at reception went above and beyond. I want feeling well and they got my honey and tea. It made my night after lots of travelling.

No advance warning air conditioner not working.
When we checked in we were advised air conditioning was switched off. We were Offered water. No one contacted us to allow us so we couldnā€™t change the hotel Reservations. We were offered 50% off our booking.

Convenient for Luton Airport
Having stayed in many IHG hotels worldwide, this one is more of a Holiday Inn Express than a Holiday Inn. But, there's an Express across the street, so I guess they needed to differentiate the two. It's priced like an Express, so I can't complain.

As it was an overnight stay for a very early flight I only experienced reception. The booking in receptionist was excellent. The one as I was leaving had a charisma bypass and offered no help when I asked him about the bus service to the airport. The room was as always just what was required.
