The room itself was clean, but very small. The bathroom was very very small. It seems they have been upgrading the rooms and it shows. However, the hall and steps were very worn carpet and not cleaned well. Breakfast was not memorable. The exterior also needs some work. The best part was the beach area with fire pits and s’mores. The view was great.

The view and private beach is spectacular. However, I was 8 months pregnant when we stayed and we got to the front desk in the morning to let them know we would like to be shuttled to the ferry (they have a free shuttle to the dock), and she told us she called it. Then, we waited an hour just to find out that the shuttle came and left, and the front desk staff person didn’t even notice or let us know. They also don’t have a lot of seating where we could wait, so I was standing for a good 1 1/2 hours before we just decided to get in our own car and go to the ferry. The room was also clean, but very dated and had stains on the walls as well as carpet that was ripped up and cracks in the walls/floor. The view and location is top tier, but I was not very impressed in other aspects ESPECIALLY for the price we paid.

This hotel was so nice!! The room was so clean! My only complaint with the room is that the bathroom is so tiny...like half a closet small ...the shower head has little to no pressure. The only complaint about cleaning is that the screens for the windows in the hall were filthy and there were dead and alive bugs stuck to them (yuck) The staff was super friendly and helpful! I love that kayaking was free and they provided the kayaks. However I was disappointed when we were on the beach and there were giant rocks / boalders blocking the lake and sand. (Except for a small very small spot). The photos that are provided are not like that....I was expecting for more of a beach vibe. Over all the property was super nice and cleaned. the hot tub seemed a bit dated maybe because the pool looks brand new. Breakfast daily was absolutely delicious and hot! However I wish that they provided more cold beverages....maybe apple juice or OJ without pulp. My only complaint about staff was when they asked my husband if we would like the room cleaned daily he said yes and that didn't happen so we were calling for dry towels at 10-11 at night....they did apologize for the inconvenience. Even with other people there t was quite all night...no noise issues! I am overall very happy with our stay!! Very convenient location and absolutely beautiful view!

Room was clean. 1st floor rooms really noisy and lots of spider webs and insects on the porches. Beach had large rocks along shore with only a small area to get to the water. Room did not justfy the expense.

A nice stay.
The place is a little bit run down, but my room was clean and I had a good sleep here. Breakfast was very crowded- peak summer season. They did not offer water to drink at breakfast which bothered me- only orange or cranberry juice. The setting is lovely- on the beach- and the snores are a fun touch for the kids.

I booked this hotel because it had been given so many stars online and I wanted a wonderful room for my kids and I. Honestly, it was mediocre at best and quite disappointing. The bathroom was so out dated and so tiny that you couldn’t even turn around in it. You have to enter all the way into the bathroom before you could even attempt to shut the door and the door didn’t even close all the way- it was broken. The sink had a soap dispenser that belongs in a public bathroom and not something that you should see in a hotel room. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the fire pits at night were a wonderful touch. We most likely wouldn’t stay at this property again but fine for someone that doesn’t want any frills and doesn’t mind the bare minimums.
