DONT STAY HERE
Rooms are terrible mold on walls possible poop wasnt clean bed is a very dingy yellow dont have proper bedding (no fitted sheets) towels are rough broken locks jacuzzi is gross and very loud (look under it i bet its mold city) walls gone by jacuzzi peeling wall paper ac had horrible smell not dusted not vacuumed smoke detection wasnt working (probably a camera) maintenance came and took a whole day to "fix things" and then we moved rooms anyways staff is rude "owners" own whole city so no refund no nothing but a rude goodbye save your money not worth it

Worst experience, don’t book hotel inMackinaw City
Worst experience ever, stay away from any of 28 hotels in Mackinaw City that Lieghio family owns and operates. Owner does not care about the hotels and guests, outdated, misrepresented on the pictures. Owner continue doing unfair business even after a case in 2022 and settlement that he promised that will not be doing unfair business. Family of 5 adults as we reserved the room pictures showed that room is remodeled, has 2 queen beds, couch, mini fridge. In reality - 2 double beds, no couch, dorm size mini fridge, dirty, dark rooms. Asked front desk if room can be switched for another one with a couch and mini fridge - got a reply that none of the rooms has couch in them and maybe a possibility to get rollaway bed for extra money. Room is too small for rollaway bed. Dorm size fridges in the rooms. Hotel advertise Breskfast includes - coffee thermos in the lobby and packed muffin in the lobby if you are there early enough before they ran out of coffee and muffins. Could not even wash hands in the sink - it was clogged, took maintenance person 30 minutes to clean it. Checked out next morning due to the condition - not able to sleep 5 adults on 2 double beds, dorm fridge, no actual breakfast. Asked for early check out and refund, manager declined. Escalated to Hotels.com - not able to help either. Original booking for 5 nights; stayed 1 night and moved to St. Ignace hotel with better service. Filling complaint to Michigan Attorney General office.

I called and asked for a beach front room. The person I talked to said they're all beachfront. It was parking lot front. The coffee pot didn't work and to use the fitness center you had to use another hotels.

Great location!
This was a great find, not the best hotel but definitely convenient and beds for comfortable. I would prefer more updates all around, but for just spending the night, it was great! Another plus was that it was located right next to the ferry station!

Just what we expected from a budget hotel.
Loved the location and price. The hotel itself is just what we expected no more, no less. Comfortable and cozy rooms with great air conditioning, beds and shower. Just what we expected from a budget hotel in a popular tourist spot. Wish the breakfast was more than prepackaged muffins and coffee. Good value and 3 minute walk to the ferry.

Run down. Misleading advertisement as this girl is really just a small one story motel with no amenities. Staff were rude and could never resolve any concerns. Our room was old and run down. Leaks cracks and mold. Informed front desk yet no one had authorization to remedy this. Other real hotels would be a better choice.

Disappointing Days Inn
I cant say you get what you pay for because we paid way to much for what we got. Ugg asked to upgrade to water view only to see the view was another parking lot. Extremely outdated. no microwave, torn screen door, If we paid a quarter the price it would make sense( I wouldn't waste time on a review) but over $200 for 12 hours a stay. Absolutely not!

Outdated and not worth it.
With so many options of places to stay in this city, you would think a Days Inn would have been acceptable. This place is rundown and not at all safe for a woman traveling alone. Spend an extra $10-$20 and stay somewhere nicer. The room was outdated. The entire place is old and I had to go to the Clarion next-door just to check out in the morning.

More than half the lights I the room did not work. The spa tub was broken and the front desk had to call maintenance to fix it. The front desk said the light not working was because house keeping unplugged them and I needed to crawl around on the floor to plug them in. The staff wouldn't.

Staff at front desk was friendly and very knowledgeable of the area and amenities available. The motel: dirty, unkept, regular maintenance has not been done, stairs and railing to second level dangerous! Room: no outlet usable, MOLD all around tub and sink, patio has no screen, towel bar falling off wall, toilet paper holder gone!, it does not matter how much somebody pays per day or per week for a room. It should be clean! Very disappointed in the property and whomever is responsible for the upkeep. NEVER AGAIN! AND WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.

Kind of a Sow’s Ear.
Bed sagged in the middle. We kept rolling down to the middle. The screen on the balcony door was ripped so we couldn’t keep the door open for fresh air. The door jam kept getting stuck and it was hard to open. A couple of electrical outlets didn’t work. The small refrigerator was balanced on top of a resin lawn furniture table. The wall paper above the patio door was peeling off the wall. The bathroom door was cracked and coming apart at the bottom. We were on the first floor and when the room above us was occupied they walked around and it sounded like they were stomping around and the noise kept us awake till they went to bed around midnight. The furniture and tv stand appeared to be from the late 1970’s. The place was fairly clean but pretty beat up. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Never Again!
Per Days Inn email before we left, I signed in. Sent copies of my drivers license, provided my credit card. Was told I could skip sign in… Nope! Clerk was non communicative, required my license and credit card anyway. Got to our room. Door was broken, had to shove it open with my shoulder. Reported it, no response. Room was dirty! Blood in our sink! No coffee or coffee supplies! Tried to call the office that first night, no response until next morning. Bugs in the shower! No maid furious three day stay, no fresh towels, no trash pickup. They claimed breakfast was available, but “breakfast” was a single serving muffin and a thermos of coffee. No muffins available our first morning! This was the dirtiest hotel I have been in in years! What a disaster! Never Days Inn ever again!

The room we stayed in needs a remodel. While it may be clean, the age and condition gives you the feeling it is dirty. The only positve is the location next to the ferry. Other than a pool, there are no amenities. We did not use the pool so we cannot speak to its condition or cleanliness.

Front desk clerk most nonverbal. Per your email, I checked in online. Clerk made me check in again. Front door was broken, had to shove it open with my shoulder. Sink had blood in it. Couldn’t get anyone here to clean until next morning. Coffee supplies in room were depleted. And where was the breakfast? Single packaged muffins? And they were gone the first morning before we got there. Most disappointed and dissatisfied. Will never return!
