At first glance, this looks like a coffee shop - not a hotel. the rooms are very small, so don't expect to have room to put your suitcase anywhere apart from on the floor near the bed. The photos on the website are not exactly what you'll get. The toilet cubicle is so small, you can't sit on the toilet with the door shut - your knees prevent the door from closing. The shower recess had mold in it, and the shower head was so central that it's impossible to not get your hair wet - that must be why a shower cap is provided. They don't provide a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, and there's no bar fridge and no safe. our room on the 4th floor had a window over a central atrium - that's fine until the people on the ground floor sit out there in the morning and chat - loudly. Overall - it's a low cost accommodation.

For single travellers who need a centrally located base, the hotel is ideal. Staff are friendly and there’s a cafe with good coffee at the entrance. We were a couple who stayed for 2 nights in a balcony room and it was good for quiet night’s sleep and for being well located. We knew the room would be small, but it’s not clear in photos that the shower and bathroom aren’t really a separate room. We probably would have booked elsewhere if we’d known - they’re basically glass/metal cubicles so privacy isn’t great, and the water leaked from the shower door. Bed was comfy.

Very good hotel. Was very cheap for such a clean modern hotel. We were provided with a free upgrade which was very kind of them. Our stay was very good here. Location is the best in Madrid - very central to all main tourist attractions. Only downside was the lack of signposting outside the hotel, but it wasn’t a problem once found.

Property has the perfect location -- area of restaurants and plenty of shops. It is located in an area of narrow streets which is but usual in this area of Madrid. It is safe although not as quiet as it is located in a bustling part of the city. It is within walking distance to Sol (neighborhood) which is the touristy part of the city. It is within walking distance to Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace. Our group consisted of three adults and three children under 10 years of age; and we stayed in a room of just the basics: 2 twin beds and 2 twin bunk beds. There is one chair in the room, 3 metal storage cabinets; 2 shower rooms and one separate room for the toilet. Our room was made each day and towels were changed every other day. Lobby is shared with a cafe. Check-in desk personnel were friendly. Would stay here again if traveling with a big group and would like to save money.

Wow, staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Great area and close to everything. Rooms were european size and functional. Free tea, but not coffee. There’s a counter in the lobby that sells coffees and pastries
