This hotel was perfect for us. The hotel shuttle service was great and very prompt. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and that was good too and very reasonably priced compared to UK hotels. Our room overlooked front entrance so I was worried it would be noisy but it was very quiet. Breakfast was good too with plenty of choice they were still replenishing the buffet at 9:30 and All included in the price. Shower and bath were great with plenty of hot water. The aircon unit was a bit noisy but we didn’t need it anyway. Would definitely recommend this hotel for airport and even better out car hire collection (rentals 24/7) was about 150metres up the road so we didn’t need to go back to the airport to collect the car the next morning which after a 24 hour flight was a bonus.

We recommend this hotel!
Excellent experience at Heartland Hotel. We were especially happy with the free shuttle service. It was a very rapid airport pickup and flexible airport drop off. Beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Blackout curtains were provided in our room. Breakfast was very good. Reception was pleasant.

We booked this place because it was close to the airport and we had to be up at 4am. It’s ideal if you are a deep sleeper. The rooms are very noisy, you can hear everything from the hallway to the road. We had the pleasure of maintenance workers outside our window (2nd floor) woke the family up at midnight. Very loud and should have done this during day time. Will not stay here again or recommend.

Easy to get to and close to airport. Always good service and nice meals. Always offer free shuttle to Airport. This is our go to hotel when flying out of Auckland.
