This hotel is wonderful! Its clean, smells nice, and its in a great location. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and we will definitely re-book in the future! I really have no complaints about our stay!

Our stay was nice, but it is always the same...We are charged 30$ for towel service and 20$ for parking though it is a normal parking lot. 50$ in total that families dont take into account. It is not fair and not nice. We would come back if it wasnt for those hidden fees, but as a family it is to much. Also I have booked a room for around 140$/night, so when I arrived 2 days earlier, they charged me around 210$(for two nights), it should be cheaper not more expensive. And in the 140$ the Hotel must give away comission to a third party, it just doesn't make any sense. Thank you !

Pros: We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Great location. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! The staff is very helpful, friendly, everyone smiles and greets you. There are two separate pools to enjoy. There are two jetty's to venture out on with comfortable chairs provided a great place to watch the sunset. We stayed during the week and it was pretty quiet. There is a tiki bar with food and drinks. Our first day there, a Cuban woman (sorry forgot her name) made me the best Mojito I think I ever had! Food was ok there. But luckily, we found La Isla Taco Grill!!! It's about 2 miles north. Food is so fresh, homemade, affordable, and made to order its not sitting around getting stale. We will miss that place. Cons: If the food was better at the hotel, we would have never left because we did love the facility. However, for breakfast, the Bistro only offers Starbucks coffee, which we don't like. So we went to the Lighthouse Grill; coffee was served cold at 7:30am ?? The Yogurt & granola parfait was such a small portion 1 strawberry cut in half and 2 blackberries with stale rubbery granola, and maybe a half cup of yogurt. So we had to venture off the property. Someone recommended the Keys Fisheries for dinner ordered: lobster bisque, coconut shrimp, lobster roll, and snapper tacos, but we were very disappointed ended up throwing it in the trash. But the Taco Grill is GREAT.

Use the gym and all the resort amenities, they say you only get charged ($30) for the days you use them ... but at checkout they say you get charged for every day you are in your room. The check-in process was quick, but they put a hold on my card at check-in time then another one at 2:23 in the middle of the night (for parking which I told them at check in that I had a car and they gave me a parking pass). When I asked, he said this was normal, but I asked him if I talked to other people eating breakfast if it happened to them, he said "probably not". At check-out they charged my card for the resort fee and parking, but did not use the hold and did not release the hold for 5 days. I have never had that happen before. The private beach has very soft sand and a very good view. The pool is good for soaking and large enough that several groups of people don't interfere with each other. Would I go again, yes, because it is near public parks and beaches that I can go snorkeling in and there are good places to eat very close by. Go to Porkies. I ate there 8 times (21 meals in a week) without duplicating a meal. We also went to Key West for a day (1 hour drive) and Key Largo for a day (1 hour drive)
