The hotel was under construction which was not noted on its website. The room was not clean with hair on the floor and on the clean towels. There was a stain on the white sheet of the boxspring that looked like urine and feces. The front desk did not take the complaint seriously.

I arrived to first room and it felt warm and humid even though a/c was on for an hour. Called front desk and they sent maintenance. Maintenance tinkered with a/c and it cooled for a few minutes then hot and himid again. The blankets were moist. Yuk! So maintenance replaced the a/c unit (Crazy?! I know). Still, room humid and hot. So we were allowed to move to different room. The whole hotels felt warm but not humid like the first room. The hotel appeared to have areas under remodeling that were never finished (mismatched carpet). The front desk clerk did her best to rectify the bad situation.

Hampton is the best!
Hampton Inn is always my favorite hotel to stay at on trips! You have the most comfortable beds and pillows of any hotels. Your rooms sre always spacious and clean. I absolutely love the new showers and soap products!

Great place to stay!
We were here just for one night before flying out of McAllen Airport, but our stay couldn't have been nicer! Hampton Inn always has the most comfortable beds and pillows! The room was quiet, clean, new, and had everything we needed!

It was easy to find from the Airport. I realize that when we return in another year all of the construction fixtures will allow the lobby and entrance more appealing. The men who were working on the building were courteous and working hard.
