The hotel was great, it was clean , the rooms were small but that’s expected for the hotels on south beach. I like the esthetic of the room it was cute . The evening hours were pretty quiet. There is complimentary breakfast which was good but you can also order other stuff .

The stay was a mixed bag. Great location and it's a nice touch to have a breakfast voucher & beach chair access. There was plenty of coffee and water always available. However, their old-timey elevator was scary to use and malfunctioned when we needed to check out, leaving us dragging suitcases down the stairs. The shower setup is odd and all but guarantees lots of water on the bathroom floor. Overall good stay, but this place is very vintage

Good things! There was no mold smell or overwhelming perfume odor, for those that is an issue with. There are 2 front desk staff people who were great. Not so great things: Property advertises sound proof rooms. This is entirely untrue. I stayed on first floor and the noise from the restaurant/lobby/loud party area seemed to be amplified directly into my room, which was especially bothersome on a Saturday night. No sleep. Sunday morning. Had to be up at 4:00am to catch an early flight. The desperately needed coffee was sludge that had been cooking in the pot all night and I respectfully requested some fresh coffee. No dice. The television in my room did not work, it was not connected to internet. Front desk guy made small attempt to fix it, said he would call a guy. Never followed up. (Room 108). I wasn’t feeling super, I was in Miami for work and not vacation. I don’t have TV at home so hotels are a nice treat in this regard. It was just a rough few nights, very little sleep due to noise from lobby. The restaurant staff is on the rude side of the fence, just very disinterested and completely oblivious to guest experience. I was served ice cold eggs for breakfast. Cool, cool. I also handled my own housekeeping as it was never convenient for the staff. Also, the bath towels here are in a sad sad state. I’m pretty easy going but I guess a warning here: If you are in Miami and are not here to party your butt off and eat mediocre food, avoid South Beach.

We stayed from Oct 1 thru Oct 5 and found few things with concerns. On the first night, spotted huge cockroach by the bed on the wall and we killed it. We felt uncomfortable sleeping as thinking if there are more in the room. There were constant loud noises at night which would wake you up in addition to the noises and voices you can hear in the hallways on daily basis at night hours. In addition, the safety box in the room did not operate and it took the guy few hours to work on it. The good thing on the property is it's walkable distance to many of the restaurants and to the beach.

Unfortunately, room service is not available in the evening. We asked for changing the bed sheets (it was an unexpected situation), they gave us the sheet to change it ourselves. I liked the behavior of one of the servers in the restaurant (cannot recall his name). The hotel is very picturesque, but the service needs improvement. Free breakfast was also a positive point.

Beautiful location beautiful building very nice rooms and the shower was amazing. Front seat was very kind and courteous and very upbeat will say there again when we take our cruises out of Miami this is for sure

Although the stay was very nice, the walls were super thin and you could hear everyone around you. Also my girlfriend got stuck in the elevator. A/c was hardly working and the doors would not shut unless they were slammed making it more loud in the hotel.
