The room was old and well used. It needs to be updated. And as well over priced. The people there are always trying to charge you or upgrade for more money. It did not settle well with me.

Can’t say anything really bad, but let’s say I will continue staying at 1 Hotel South Beach as I always did, no more experiments with these pricey but outdated hotels like Loews or Trump.

Everything was nice about the property however the room upgrade was not free. I ended up paying over $50 per night for an upgraded room because there was not a room readily available even though we were a few hours early.

The location is great. Close enough to ocean drive without all the noise at night. Loved the pool area and common areas of the hotel. So nice. However, the room wasn't my favorite. The walls, furniture, and bathroom were pretty beat up and not the cleanest. The A/C did not run in the bathroom and the room overall took so long to cool down. Bed was great though!
