I selected the Hotel Flora because of its proximity to the train station (Milan Centrale) and decent amount of restaurants in the vicinity. I was initially excited that I got a room on the highest floor, away from the street noise. Then I entered the room. The word “small” is insufficient. My suitcase alone probably took up a quarter of the room. I couldn’t open the balcony door because there was nowhere else to put it. The interior was nothing like the pictures, everything was dated. The bed/cot was incredibly uncomfortable, lots of tossing and turning at night. Housekeeping did not clean my room one day, which was disappointing to arrive to after having been out all day. I didn’t even bother calling the front desk about it because it was already late, and I just wanted to sleep at that point. I will say that the lady helping at the breakfast buffet in the mornings was nice and hardworking. This stay underwhelmed for the price charged.

This hotel is close to the Milano Centrale station, clean, and the staff was super helpful in helping us arrange a taxi for our early morning flight out of Linate.

Excellent location.
Really loved the hotel. They blast the air con and the room was really large for the price and right next to the station. Good place to base yourself especially if you want to go Garda/Coma/Verona.

Fine for one night near the station
This was a fine place to stay for one night before I headed off on a trip, and convenient to the train station. The room was TINY (a twin bed, and barely any room around it), a shower stall that I almost couldn't turn around in and I am a normal sized person. The staff was nice and the lobby was nice. I think there was a breakfast area, but I didn't eat there.

Hotel Flora staff was very helpful. The location was unbeatable because it's right by the Central Station. The only negative thing I can think of is the fact that the walls are paper thin and you hear the people in the room next door. I had a positive experience at Hotel Flora.

Great central location which provided us with an excellent base for sightseeing. Welcoming reception and friendly housekeeping staff. Our triple room was very compact, as we expected, but we were generally happy with the comfort and cleanliness.
