Very centralised, easy to walk to public transport. Close Familymart for last minute dinner options, or to purchase snacks. Helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend for families.

Beautifully designed hotel with modern sophisticated rooms. Rooms are typically smaller than your average hotel room but that's expected in Japan. Staff were warm and extremely helpful. They also provided complimentary breakfast snacks in the morning and were happy to store our luggage for a few hours before check-in and after check-out. The area is quiet but still with a few great restaurants around and only a 5 minute walk to the main shopping street.

Probably the best place we have ever stayed in! We will stay if/when we get back to Kyoto. Lots of room, great staff, and central to everything we wanted to do.
