Not happy about being bumped
We had a deluxe king size room reserved and were switched to a queen sized 2 beds with no deluxe accommodations. They did not disclose it at check in and when we got into the room it was not what was reserved. Their excuse was that they were overbooked and they had the right to arbitrarily change our reservation. Not happy with our stay. Not our fault it was overbooked. They did provide an “adjustment on our bill”. We cannot recommend a hotel that operates this way.

Pet friendly, clean large room. Friendly staff. Easy to walk to a variety of restaurants. Great pool, whirlpool. I didnt like the 35.00 pet fee applied each night of my stay as no daily housekeeping was needed of done, should be one time fee.

They allowed a couple different child birthday parties and the entire pool was filled with unattended children while their parents sat around and drank. There were SO many people that hot water did not work from 8pm at night until we checked out the next day, we could NOT shower or use the Jacuzzi tub we so much extra to have in our room. They couldn't keep up at breakfast in the morning either because of so many guests being unaccounted for, allowing all these people that didn't pay to stay to come down and eat. I will never go back on a weekend again.

Eh its okay.
Stoney creek js fine depending on your needs. I do believe its aging and needs updates and one the weekends the hotel is overcrowded with a ghetto crowd as if your in a poverty area. My small daughter found a pill on the floor thankfully she didnt eat it so housekeeping must have some work to do. The pool is cool how its indoor outdoor but wallpaper is falling from ceiling and hottub looks like it has some growth at the bottom, also weekends 100 kids in there.
