Extremely Satisfied.
Prior to coming I called to inquiry about changing my room to one with a walk in shower on a lower level.. Without any hesitation my request was granted. I loved my room. It was very clean and the beds were awesome. I slept like a baby. Housekeeping came everyday to replenish the towels. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Unlike other hotels I visited. The buffet was not organized at all. People would come in and serve themselves which resulted in a mess. Oh I mustn't forget the receptionists. Shay and Edna. They were very professional and accommodating. If I had any concerns or questions it was immediately addressed. I would definitely recommend Dayton House to others.

Overall this is an above average property. Ready to bear the bad smell from the lift to your room but in the room it's good. They have to maintain the cleanliness not only in the room but outside of the room as well.

There were ants all over our beds on the floor pillow was stained with imeither blood or coffee they exchanged it yet it should have been checked the sink had a brown stain around the drain as if not properly cleaned. It has a nice view good location just needs better cleaning and get rid of the massive amounts of ants that reach you while you are in the bed.

No room cleaning service Had to ask to clean room make bed and vacum The ceiling was chipping on my bed and had to clean off before bed The room should be cleaned and house keeping no matter how long you are staying I have pictures if needed

I’ve been going to Dayton House Resort since 2016. They are always improving the property and plenty of swimming areas to enjoy. The free breakfast is awesome and the staff are always incredibly polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Was a good value. Went with a group got a seafood buffet and Christmas show included with price. Good free breakfast every morning. Friendly people and great parking. Best experience in Myrtle Beach in years.

The set up of this hotel is inconvenient. The parking, as well as the breakfast, is across the street. There was also construction going on that made a lot of noise and obstructed our view of the ocean which we paid extra for the view. We would not ever go back to this hotel.

We were just passing through Myrtle Beach for a one night stay. Parking to check in was inconvenient. Construction noise was bothersome. I was given a room on the 4th floor right next to the site with construction work. The crane with pile driver was creating a loud repeated banging which was intolerable. I called front desk/operator and she was not friendly. Her response to me was "What would you like me to do?" I found that unhelpful and unsympathetic to a problem which they are fully aware of. So how else to respond to that but with sarcasm and say "well then I would like you to put a stop to it." Which she said she couldn't do. So I asked what are the options and she said she can move me. We had already unpacked so it was a hassle but the new room had reduced noise and better beach view. The remainder of one night stay was better. Without the noise I would return and stay here again.

Very reasonably priced. I had an ocean view balcony. 2 queen beds with a whole kitchenette and full size fridge. I like the secure elevators and all the pool options. Easy parking. Staff was very friendly. 10/10 recommend.
