The rooms were very outdated. The room was unclean. Far from what the pictures showed. The view of the ocean was only partial needed to be specific on booking bc that’s the main reason I booked bc it stated oceanfront view. Was unable to upgrade room at check in. Happily I only booked for one night. The room smelled like mold/ mildew and there were cracks in the molding. Would not stay again. Really needs a renovation.

The property is AWESOME!!! However, it is lacking when it comes to the staff. From the very beginning I was misled. I got told that with my stay I got tickets for activities such as the waterpark in the summer months and the Track in winter months, also advertising states there’s an arcade on property which there is not. Those two points were what made my decision on this particular hotel. The staff is not knowledgeable of the area or activities for kids. I had to talk with the women at FD a couple of times and they acted like I was bothering them and it was about supplies ie: toiletries running out in our room. I asked HK for bed change and broom she acted like I was a bother. My trash set out in the hallway for 7 hours b4 it got removed. None of the staff I came into contact with acted happy and no one smiled or was friendly and welcoming. But the indoor pool and spa was nice even though the jets were broken in one spa. I asked for oceanfront and my entire view was blocked by the outside bar and that was disappointing due to I am not a drinker. It may be better in the summer months but I think they need a revamp on the staff!!!

Our room did not smell clean, in fact it smelled dirty. The rooms are quite outdated, the sofa chair was overlying used. The two chairs in the room are very dirty. The beds sheets did not seem like they were cleaned at all, we found dirty and hair (looked like pubic hair) on the comforters. I slept with my clothes on, didn’t seem too sanitary compared to previous places I have stayed at. (I took a video, but not sure how to upload it, or if it’s even possible to do so). The parking structure elevators are quite torn down as well. I will never be back nor, will I recommend this place to anyone despite it being right on the beach area.

A Very Important Weekend turned Horrible
I have been staying in MB for the last 35 years, as my grandmother lived in the area. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I came for a funeral. I had hoped to be able to sit on my balcony and process my sadness by the ocean, listening to the waves crash. You cant do that when your 'balcony' is a sliding door (broken, only opened 2 feet.), that opens to a railing. 2 inches of balcony space isnt a place you can sit and mourn. The room description is basically a lie. The toilet sounded like a jet engine. Pins to secure wires all around the room had fallen, great for a 10 month old to crawl and find. AC unit in the room was rusted. Again, great for my daughter to scratch herself on. We had uncomfortable beds and dirty linens. I had hoped this weekend would be what I needed to process my grief, but it only caused more. The app will not allow me to leave pictures, but i wisg that i could so future travelers could see what they are getting themselves into.

The desk attendant entered my card info wrong and then their supervisor claimed I didn't have sufficient funds or bank put a hold on it. After I confirmed they were entering it wrong with my bank, they offered no apology. They also promised I would have the option to add an extra night when I decided to stay. And then they couldn't add an extra night when I called the day before check out. Again, no apology. The amenities were very slim, as the kitchenette didn't have forks or dish soap. I had a good time but was a bit bummed with the service.
