Wonderful experience at Le Colisée Hotel & Spa
Le Colisée Hotel & Spa in St-Herblain, France near Nantes was a wonderful hotel and we had a fabulous experience. The people working at the hotel were very friendly, helpful, passionate about their jobs and they were very fun to be around. The hotel itself is quite modern, extremely clean, organized and managed very well. The continental breakfast was delicious and expansive. The bar had a fantastic selection of fine French wines and European beers. There is a beautiful outdoor patio and a nice lounge and meeting rooms for guests. The rooms are large with a nice European bath. The room comes equipped with WiFi, TV (French and BBC), air conditioning, refrigerator, a safe and interesting, artistic lighting throughout the room. There is concierge services and the bar is open 24/7. Le Colisée is close to the Autobahn and quite easy to get to from Nantes, Saint Nazaire and Normandie Beaches. We stayed in all sorts of places while traveling through France. Apartments and hotels in Paris, Chateaus in the country and dusty, dirty dungeons in the cities that claim it is 'Old World Charm'. My son and I traveled from Paris to St-Herblain to attend an open outdoor festival in Clisson and it was perfect! One of the best hotels we stayed in while we traveled throughout France this summer 2017!

A perfect hotel for a stopover on route South. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff welcoming. An excellent restaurant is located next door to the hotel. The room was very comfortable and free soft drinks available in the mini bar.Hotel is located in the middle of an industrial estate so location is not ideal if looking to be based in a town. For a stopover however it is ideal as it is close to the motorway. A good buffet breakfast also in hotel.

Vraiment déçu , non conforme au attentes
Piscine hors de fonction, climatisation non-fonctionnelle en chambre. J’en ai informé le réceptionniste de nuit qui ne savait pas quoi, faire , puis la réceptionniste de jour qui m’a dit qu’elle réglerait le truc. En arrivant le soir toujours pas de Clim, et rebelotte aucune action/excuses du réceptionniste… même pas proposé de changer de chambre et pourtant il y avait de la place. . Pas de massages disponibles non-plus… pas par manque de place, mais car le planing de la masseuse faisait qu’elle ne bossait pas le week-end. Donc j’ai choisi un hôtel Spa, sans Spa et sans Clim. J’ai payé pour des services inexistants et n’ai reçu aucune propositions ou rabais pour ça. Si l’hôtel était correct, ils indiqueraient que la piscine est en panne et qu’ils ne font pas de soins à telle ou telle date… je repars avec le sentiment désagréable semettre fait rouler

Un peu étonné à l'arrivée car c'est dans une zone artisanale, mais une très bonne surprise en arrivant à l'hôtel !!! Très chic et sympa. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable, toujours avec le sourire. J'y retournerais si l'occasion ce présente et je le recommande sans hésiter! De plus, le restaurant juste au pied de l'hotel c'est agréable.
