Bad experience.
We had multiple issues while on our state. 1) The refused to give us more water for our room, which as an all-inclusive was terrible. 2) The sauna in the spa was broken the whole week stay and hot tub was reservation only 3) The staff booking our adventures messed up, and they all got canceled. 4) Overall the staff was very rude and seemed like none of them wanted to work there. We have another trip 5 families going to RIU in cabo and I am debating cancelling and staying somewhere else to the issues we had.

Boy, I’m not sure where to start on this trip that I want to fraud so bad!!!!! First our room was dirty when we arrived. BAD START. They did a half a*s clean when they came in. Daily all they did was the bed and left. How nice of them. The FOOOD? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I was starving my entire trip. When you come in they tell you to download an app to create your reservations for the different dining experiences they have. Nobody told us you have to create your reservations weeks before you get there?! Could you believe I couldn’t make ONE DAMN reservation my entire stay ???! I started to complain to the lady at the reception desk so she asked me when I was going to check out she gave me ONE reservation for my last night! not for the same night not the next night but THREE NIGHTS LATER. So what was I supposed to do until then? What’s the point of staying at an all inclusive if the food is honestly not even edible. I could’ve stayed at an Airbnb. Me and my husband ate out breakfast lunch and dinner. Then you have Mr.doesn’t get paid enough for anything acting like the steak house restaurant is a VIP Michelin star experience. We go the last night… ONE THE RESTAURANT IS EMPTY!!! empty all night to be in fact. He was rudely declining people at the door. But everybody who had a reservation and sat down to ate were walking out angrily. My steak was raw when it came out and had one piece of broccoli, one piece of carrot and one tomato. This is what I waited 3 nights for CRAZY

Overall, the property was clean and the staff were attentive and friendly. The room was a bit outdated and you can smell mold when you walk in. It's most likely from the bathroom since there's no ventilation. There are two pools and a small patch of beach for the guest to gather. The one thing you'll notice about the beach is the lack of shaded areas (palm trees, coconut trees) and the water is rough ocean water, not calm enough to enjoy, at least not in November. There isn't much to do on the property given its size, so planning offsite activities are encouraged. The buffet food/ restaurant food was plentiful and good for the most part. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Stay was great, the hotel, pool area and room were all 5 out of 5, Buffet was amazing, the only issue I had was the restaurants, the food is pre cooked and did not seem fresh, we ate only at the steak house and did not try the others, seemed like all of them had pre cooked food already. The buffet food was way better then the restaurants in my opinion. But overall, i would stay here again.
