We booked there a budget room and that is what we get. Room and bathroom equipment was a really basic one. What this hotel makes exceptional is the staff, views from the hotels terrace and restaurant. I would like to mentioned the staff, especially the lady at reception who was helpful a lot with quite extensive explanation about the whole Cappadocia area. Her tips was quite valuable. The view from hotels terrace and restaurant was splendid. It was open to the whole Goreme valley and exceptionally fit to see it all over even with the Cappadocias highlight -> hot air balloons flowing over

Nice Place. No Frills. No AC. Had to ask for a fan. No Fridge. Fairly basic but it works. I think most of the places in Cappadocia may be like this unless you go high end. Staff was really nice. Close to all the restaurants and main area but it is up on a hill. So you do have to walk up an incline for a few minutes. Otherwise, the only thing I really didnt like was that for my room, the washroom was super small. Too small. The faucet barely went over my sink. So I had to spit on my faucet to spit into my sink.

We staged in the hotel for one night with a little dog and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a very cozy and nicely decorated garden inside. Clean and spacious room with a white sheets. Terrace is amazing and allows you to watch the balloons in a warm and cold weather. Location of the hotel is great, right in downtown and all the restaurants and shops are 2-3 mins walking distance. Staff (Leila) is very welcoming and helpful! We felt like home there, thank you for that! We were super impressed by the sunrise and the balloons watching them from the terrace, no need to drive anywhere at 5 am or walk to the view point! Tea and coffee were available for free at all time, so we had a great photoshoot with the balloons right there in the hotel! No regrets!

The staff at Elysée Cave Hotel were probably the best thing about our stay - they helped us book our hot air balloon flights and tours at a discounted rate, were always available when we had any questions about getting around Cappadocia, and were friendly throughout. Would definitely stay again!

We began planning 4 months before the trip. I sent the hotel a message and they answered quickly. After that, I exchanged information and asked a lot of questions. Leyla went above and beyond to answer all questions and accommodate us. She even arranged the balloon ride for us. She’s very friendly and would do anything to help you. We loved the property. The views of the area are magnificent. You can see the balloon event from their terrace. They have a very nice area to relax. Breakfast is good. The only thing was the road to get to the hotel which isn’t paved but it wasn’t a big deal. We’d stay in the hotel if we went back in the future. The customer service provide beats any other issue. Thank you, Leyla for your beyond excellent service.

Leyla & Soheil are THE BEST!!!
i was recently at Elysee Cave House for 4 nights. I was traveling with my cousin, Kevin. I have now visited 79 countries and I have stayed at lotsa lotsa places. Elysee was as good as it gets. WHY? Primarily because of Leyla, the staff person who not only checked us in but recommended and arranged ALL of our Activities there...... the Whirling Dervishes, the Balloon trip, the Turkish bath, the Green & Red Tours and the local restaurants. In addition, she arranged for our laundry to be done and our Taxi to get us to the airport for our departure. Leyla is smart, helpful, experienced, 100% English-fluent, pleasant and beautiful! Oh, and there is more. Leyla's husband, Soheil, prepares the (included) breakfast, does anything you might ask of him and also rescued us when we jammed the key in our door and couldn't get into our room, I would return to Elysee Cave House in a heartbeat. The staff is great, the property is great and it is located a very short walk from the center of town. Sincerely, Tom Roach

Laila and thier amazing staff are very attentive.
I loved the hotel and their staff. Amazing person Laila and her husband are running the hotel and they assisted me from begainjng to an end. Laila speaks multiple languages and reserved all of my tours including hot air ballon which made our life and trip relaxing. There garden and terrace is amazing place to chill and able to see beautiful gorem town. Thank you Laila & staff.

Ok. I’m going to be honest. I had high hopes for this hotel because of the reviews. The initial drive up was a huge disappointment. It’s up a dirt hill, with falling down buildings and dumpsters. Once inside the property it was very very well maintained. The receptionist was so very helpful and kind. The garden and patio areas were kept beautifully. The breakfast was very good. Here’s the problem I had… the rooms! The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in at any hotel in any country. We had two rooms with 6 beds total and they were all the same. There is no air conditioning and our one room had no windows so very stuffy. The bathrooms are in need of updating and cleaning. So while some aspects were great, the real need in a hotel is sleeping. This was difficult due to the beds.

It wasn’t a cave. The rooms were very small, no place for luggage. The bathroom so small the shower and the toilet are so closely that when you shower the entire bathroom is wet. The view is ok.

We stayed at Elysee cave hotel for 2 nights. Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The rooms are big, cozy, clean and spacious. Leyla is a best hostess. She is very welcoming, supportive and sweet. The breakfast is good, they have a nice roof top with a good view to watch the hot air balloons. The hotel is very near to the main road and other restaurants so you don’t have to walk much. The overall environment is very homely and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who comes to Capadocia!
