We initially checked into a petite king which was bad! Too small for a 4 night stay. No chairs. No place to put our clothes. We shared our concerns with the staff and moved to a large room for an upgrade that was great. I donā€™t think the petite king was well described on expedia

A beautiful courtyard and pool area. You would never know Bourbon Street was right outside the door. Very convenient to numerous world renowned restaurants.

Staff did their job, but weren't overly welcoming or friendly throughout the stay. The rooms were lovely, but small (it is the FQ though). The bedroom looked like it had been recently renovated, but the bathrooms could use an update. The convenience and location of this hotel can't be beat. . .you are in the heart of the Quarter. The bar has terrific cocktails and live jazz at night. I did appreciate the complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning!

Clean quiet and very comfortable. Great location! The room needed a proper chair not just a stool. Other than that it was a very good place to stay.

Nice, clean hotel, great location but poor service
The hotel is in a central French Quarter location and rooms are quiet even though the hotel is on Bourbon St. Nice lobby and nice, clean rooms. The shower didn't have hot water. After a while it got quite warm but never hot. There was no housekeeping. And when my 90-year-old mother needed an extra hour to check out, they charged her $70. There is also a $20/night resort fee that is taken at the hotel and not disclosed in the pricing.

Room was not cleaned very well. Had hair on towels. Moved ice bucket and you could see what the counter was supposed to like. Partyā€™s went till 3am Saturday night outside window so be aware if you are a light sleeper.

Purchase a one night stay at the last minute due to miscommunication on flight departure. Step out onto balcony at night and look at the St Louis. Noise from Bourbon isnā€™t a problem and if it is then you shouldnā€™t be in the Quarter, it eventually gets quiet and the morning is French and clean. The staff was amazing and the bar tender that night gave us a little extra frozen drink from the blender when he made too much. Make sure you check out the old book store across the street literally jammed packed with very old books almost 100 yrs old for sale. You wonā€™t be disappointed.

New owners dont care!
Room had cracked window and broken wooden blind! Huge exhaust fan outside near window which ran 24/7! No hskp one day cause they said I put sign out do not disturb(never used that sign entire stay! Shower drain slow for 45 min! Didnt get clean towels one 24 hr period! Front desk person rude when I called and complained! $20 coffee chg! ( I dont drink coffee! Kuereg in room

A nice hotel in a good spot, but let down by bad reception staff. I was told I was in the wrong room, so re-packed, only to be told they just needed a new deposit as they had messed up their administration. Also this hotel doesn't respect VIP status, so no upgrades offered. Room was nice, but window slats were broken, so hard to keep the light out.
