Everything was good except our neighbors in the next room we're clearly filming a porn video. My 16 year old son did not need to hear that. I called Guest services and they did apologize and send someone up....I heard them knock on their door but I don't believe they answered it. It continued on for at least another hour making it impossible to sleep. I feel they should have just offered us another room.

It's a very nice hotel with a beautiful courtyard. We checked in after a very early morning flight from Dallas and the wonderful lady at the front desk got us into a room right away. That was a delightful surprise. This was Sunday morning the 1st of Dec.

The overall condition of the hotel is OK, though our restroom door would not close easily because of the broken hinge. The worst thing about this hotel is staff. It took them 20 minutes to check in a person in front of us in the line, and by the time it was our turn, there were three more groups behind us. Parking around the hotel is limited, so you had to use the valet option, but when we came, there was nobody there at the entrance to take the car. Turns out, the valet stand is halfway between the street and the hotel entrance, but the valet is proudly standing there, unwilling to come, he just waives ordering you to come to him. In our case, he was also very unfriendly and talked to us with a sudden and very unexpected disdain. We had to first go check in at the front desk (see above) and then come back to him to give him keys and report our room number and personal information. It was the weirdest valet service I had seen, not to mention they charge you $45 plus tax for the pleasure of dealing with extremely unhelpful employee who does not even stop munching on a piece of pizza pie as he writes down you information and takes the car keys. On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location which we also found to be fairly safe. But next time, we will stay somewhere else, closer to the French Quarter and with better parking options.
