The convenient, premium, attached Parking Garage is Not free and is not part of Westin. Upon arrival I assumed parking was part of Westin when we self parked, after checking with Valet parking attendant and being helpfully directed to connected parking garage. (Valet parking appeared very busy upon arrival) Upon check out of hotel I learned my vehicle may have been ā€œ booted/immobilized ā€ for lack of pre-paying parking. (Fee would have been $90 to remove boot plus added parking fee). Westin desk staff could not provide any assistance other than instruction to call parking garage enforcement, if booted) All worked out well, in the end, as we were not booted and departure from overnight parking garage was uneventful. (Perhaps a few words on parking arrangements(paid pre-paid parking) would be helpful upon check-inā€”-maybe added to check-in information/services sheet which Westin desk staff provided) This caused a bit of departure angst and was a slightly negative event in an otherwise excellent stay)

Great stay near the Aquarium
Stayed there so that we were near the Aquarium. I had my 7 and 9 year old grandchildren with me. My only disappointment was no swimming pool.... the pictures on the website showed a pool and they no longer have one. I requested a river view... the kids loved watching the river and spotting cars in the quarter.

Such a wonderful location, I spent most of my time while in the room looking out the window at the river! Itā€™s within walking distance to everything, or thereā€™s easy access to multiple types of transportation if your destination is too far away. The only reason I gave staff & service 1 less star is at check-in was due to a communication issue about the card used for incidentals/room charge.

The hotel is really nice but the parking was over priced and the hidden fees like a deportation fee I never heard of is ridiculous oh and there was a barking dog across from our room I told front desk and they did take care of it.

Nice hotel, room service fail.
Room service was not easy. We couldnā€™t connect to room service by phone. With several attempts someone answered and said let me call you back and never did. I decided to get dressed, go down to the 11th floor and request my order at the bar. There they accommodated our order.

From the time I checked in until I checked out service was excellent. The hotel was very clean and I love the location. Everything was in walking distance and the mall was so nice being connected to the hotel entertainment was nice room service excellent. The bartender T and the other ladies were awesome. I did not like to speak easy that was a waste of money a rip off to me. If they had the special liquor, they shouldā€™ve let you see the bottle pay $23 a shot and the bartender. She put a lot of juice in it and she would not remake it would not recommend it. I basically paid $23 for a glass of juice and you cannot taste any liquor and I just told her a splash since it was only a shot. She was very friendly. I will recommend the Westin to family and friends.
